Tropicana is a nice place. it would look better with more butts in the seats.

I would have to say even though PETCO Park is new, it seems to be put together very hurredly, not with care.

The Metrodome has all the charm of your high school biology lecture hall, 1000 times bigger. Been there once; it wasn't bad, as such, and the Twins really did try to decorate it with baseball stuff to give it some olde-style ballyard feel, but it just didn't work. Kinda like sleeping in your car -- it's a functional shelter and you'll wake up in the morning, but it's not something you want to do again and would rather forget.
The Whateverthehellitscalledtoday Coliseum in Oakland went off an aesthetic cliff when the city built that atrocious Mt. Davis over center field. Used to be a rather pleasant park; now it looks exported from one of the less-important levels of hell.
I've never been to Shea and so condemn it only reluctantly, but that Middle 20th Century Industrial Park design, with overtones of 1984ish crowd control, never fails to look hideous on teevee.
And it's now out of service, but no park I've ever been to (24 in the majors) compared to Olympic Stadium in Montreal for overall dismal aura. The place was so bad it was literally falling apart, the stupid roof never worked, and even 20k fans could look like they were simply lost between the seats in the place. Some retired parks are remembered fondly, but Stade Olympique is best bulldozed and forgotten.

1. Tropicana Field-too bad the state of Illinois blinked when the White Sox threatened a move there.
2. McAfee Coliseum-the Mausoleum, say no more.
3. Shea Stadium-the last circular stadium left.

The stupidest looking park in MLB has to be Tropicana in Tampa. Have you even seen this thing in person? Looks like the roof's slide off at an angle.

I'd have to say the "Triple H (haha)" Metrodome I dont know about the outside (never been to it) but it doesn't look like baseball to me. That wall of seats in right looks more like a highschool gym to me than a baseball stadium.
Comerica Park is nice in and out but that wasn't the question. I still prefer the old corner of Michigan and Trumbull for the Tigers

I would say the Tropicana field and the Metro dome hands down are the ugliest inside and out.

As much as the D-Rays play in a stadium as lousy as their play, the HHH Metrodome takes the cake. The ceiling's even uglier and the bleachers in right field make it look like a last resort instead of a ballpark.

The Metrodome is not a bad place to go. It's just not a baseball stadium. It was ment for the Vikings. Outside it's really nice.

I guess it must be dumb to have a park with a retractable roof. Who would want to sit inside when it is pouring rain and sit in the sun on nice days. Isnt it better to have rainouts and double headers to tax your pitching staff. Of course my name isnt Jayjorge so what do i know. Fenway is nice for its quirks and its history but as a major league ballpark it is a joke. They must have to charge an arm and a leg for seats with its limited capacity otherwise I have no idea how the owners make money with their huge payroll.

I wll not join the Shea bashing. I grew up at Shea. Maybe it needs to go, but I will miss it. I will also not include the Vet, another place people thought was ugly, but another place I loved going to.
RFK in Washington, even though its temporary, is not a nice baseball park. Even in its hey day, I bet it was really a football staidum they played baseball in. I can't wait to see the new park in Washington though.
