Go for It. He may have related problems due to his ability to
hear, such as depression if he is not working. With so many
people who can hear that are out of work, who is going to hire
someone who is deaf. Mow his lawn and become his friend.
Some times if you do something first. He may take a step in
helping you. He may have a talent that you don't know about.
I had a deaf person who lived on my street and was deaf. He
used to read comic books all the time. after he read the
comic, he would always draw the cover and then give it away
or trade for another, so he was very artistic. He may now be
working an the cartoons you watch at the movies.
Find out if he has a computer and if not find an old one he
can start with, and in a years time, he will be able to take
yours apart and put it back together blindfolded. Go for it!
There are so many people out there that ask themselves:
WHAT IN IT FOR ME before doing simething for others.

Sometimes the good you do does no good, so be careful.
I remember a situation where this neighbor felt sorry for an elderly lady, so he did her a favor and shoveled her sidewalk after a heavy snowfall. Two days later, after a sunny days thaw, and a cold nights freeze, a person slipped and fell, breaking his back. He wound up in a wheelchair for the rest of his life.
The neighbor got sued because he undid what nature had done. The court ruled, had he not disturbed the snow on the sidewalk, it would not have turned to ice.
I know cutting the grass looks like a fairly safe favor, but, then again, you never can tell. People are weird sometimes.
Besides, he may be setting you up. There is no reason why a deaf person cannot find a job. He might just be too lazy to do it, and knows you and your good heart will eventually offer to do it for him.

No! If he were handicapped to the extent that he was unable to do so, it would be a kind gesture, but in this case it sounds like the guy is just lazy. Sounds like he has plenty of time to do it himself considering he doesn't have a job. The only reason I can see to mow this guys lawn for him would to use it as a subtle way of letting him know that the jungle next to you really bugs you.
If all else fails by the way, most citys and towns have ordinances that regulate the maximum length of your lawn. You can call city hall and report the guy and they will send a compliance officer over there and break his stones/write him a ticket.

I would mow the lawn. I always loved helping people because I would want someone to do the same for me. You never know who you may need in life and you never want to burn bridges. You also never know what people are going through, you could brighten up his day by doing the simple chore.

putting rocks alongside the valuables line will basically make extra artwork for you, weed-eater you comprehend. Mowing X on his property must be seen vandalism via the law enforcement officers. the terrific situation you're able to do is basically forget approximately approximately him. yet once you relatively need to get to him, try thanking him for mowing those 2 components for you and saving you the time and tough artwork to do it your self.

Mowing it once and a while can't hurt...maybe he will get the hint if you do...if not...you are being the good neighbor plus making your own property look better...

Do what would make you feel best. If you would feel like a sucker than dont do it but if it would make you feel better than mow it. Weigh the pros and cons of the situation.
