Has anyone ever ridden this? I saw it profiled on a TV show about extreme rides. I have to admit, even watching it on TV gave me the willies.

I'm a roller coaster fanatic and there are very few that I won't ride. However, watching Sky Swat...well, excuse me while I go throw up.

I can't ride spinners anymore. I haven't been able to in years. Sky Swat shows to be one nauseating ride. Has anyone ridden it? How did you feel when it was all over? I would have been running for nearest garbage can...if I made it that far.

You see it every freakin day: somebody, somewhere, tells someone what God thinks about a variety of different subjects.

Baseball player hits a home run, and guess what? God did it! That's why they point up in the sky.

Somebody reads an archaic book with 1000 of passages that do not pertain to modern society, but soon as they want to use one for their own twisted purposes, they suddenly know what God thinks about it.

Have you ever seen God?

Have you ever talked to God?

Has anyone in the entire world, all 6.5billion of us ever seen God?

Seen Jesus lately?

Quit twisting your religion to fit whatever your personal views happen to be.

If there is a God, then I'm going to take a page out of your book and tell you what he thinks about all this: He's GD tired of men and women manipulating religion for their own purposes.

My husband went to the lake for this week leaving me here working full time and also taking care of our eight month old daughter. He had also just taken a week to go to the lake at the end of april. His aunt heard about land for sale there for a reasonable price, and feeling sorry for me, she asked me to take a day off of work to go visit him with her.She said, "I'm sure he misses you both."(He is with his parents)They knew what time we would be there, yet we couldn't reach them on their cell for over an hour.(they were on the boat)When we finally got them to answer the phone, his mother tells me that they are catching so many fish that they are going to fish a while longer. It wasn't as if we were going to stay a while....we drove 4 hours just to get there and could only stay for that day. I have never been so heartbroken and furious. Do I have a right to be angry? Do you think that it's wrong for me to recent my husband for loading all responsibilities onto me?

I have a beautiful 1 wk old girl and we're getting the hang of bf at home. Im glad to know I am giving her the best, better than a powder formula or something else. However I know many people who either dont understand the benefits of bf or turn their nose up at it altogether. Leaving mee to look like an "old fashioned" mom if you will. Ive been told formula is easier, frees up the mom more allowing me to do things I "cant" while I bf- drink, go out and enjoy myself w/o worrying about the babys feeding schedule etc... not that their opinion will ever have me change my mind on what Im doing for my baby, but i can use the positive input from others
Where can I get a wealth of info on all things bf from support to info?

"I am my bother's keeper."

I'd love to think of America as one big family. Each one of us responsible for our value and the value of our family.

Where do you think our American 'family' is going? Do we welcome new members of our family? Why do we act like memebers of the other politcal party are our enemy? Is our country just another "Disfunctional American Family?"

She is great, we have a wonderful relationship. The word I that describes my mom is simply love, true, unconditional love. Like most moms like that, she is however overprotective and sometimes I wish I could make my own decisions. Sometimes I do'nt gree w/ her, and even other parents say sometimes she goes oveboard w/ her protection. But since I am maybe weak, I never succeed, I don't fight, she wins me w/ her love and sweetness. She has a tactic that always work. When we disagree on something and she sees that's really bothering me, she comes to y bedside at night and with her love and sweet words explain to me her decision. I want your best hun, I love you I'm more experienced, please trust me. I guess she won't back off, but anyway that love takes my anger away and even if I don't agree I end up promising her, w/ all my love, as she asks me, tghat I'll do as she wants. So, I'm defeated, and once I prmise I won't break the promise. I never get resentful, bt sometimes I'd like to win

It's 2007 and the Christian faith since the beginning requires that they witness and share the good news. "Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." Why argue and whine that they should keep it to themselves, when you know it's a requirement? It's like a "job requirement" you might not like that solicitors knock on your door, but if they are selling "Filter Queen" vacuume cleaners, that's part of their job description LOL ... Don't you feel like incessantly whining about them witnessing is like "beating a dead horse" I mean, what's the point?
I don't see Christians telling you to keep your anti God comments to yourself, particularily on forum like this.
Any comments greatly appreciated!
And don't jump on the "YOU CHRISTIAN" bandwagon... I make claims to nothing and have already been accused of being a Christian, Atheist and Muslim today!! LOL how diverse am I??

I am currently working towards my degree in biology and I plan on getting a teaching credential but I would like to pursue biology and focus on something in zoology. My question is about what type of career options would I have if I go to grad school for a study within zoology. What kind of experience or internships could help?

I'm working on a novel set in London in 1582 and want a character to refer to this particular struggle for supremacy. What would they have called it?

I've read (repeatedly) that the phrase "War of the Roses", for the conflict between the houses of Lancaster and York, was coined in the 18th century. One author claimed that it was introduced by Sir Walter Scott.

I am thinking of moving up there in a few years from "Hotsun", TX & going up there this summer to check it out. I know it will be hot but I am sure it can't be as bad as Houston in July ( 95 degrees w' a 100 deg. heat index & 99% humidity. I assume everyone wears shorts in the summer up there just like here, correct?
