I found a baseball in my attic that was signed by the Atlanta Braves. I can't read all of the signatures, so I don't know exactly which players signed it. Also, it looks as if the signatures were stamped on the ball. The ball itself has the word "COLLECTORS" written on it twice.

My brother keeps throwing things at me, bad mouth me and denies it when I get on him about it. His reply, "I didn't even do anything. Iwas walking by." Then he tells me to shut up. His constant abuse is defended by his mommy by telling me to ignore him. Friends say the same thing, saying by ignoring it he'll get tired of it when there's no reaction and then he'll stop. stop. BS!!!! He keeps doing it because it's being allowed. I tried to ingnore it, but it just goes on and one. How can I get my point across that such behavior shouldn't be tolerated? I, personally think part of it is fear. They're afraid to say anything 'cause the abuse I get will happen to them.
You'll put a stop to a child when one's out of line, so why put up with it from older kids and adults?

or is it impossible to repent for those who are willfully sinning? was the blasphemy against the spirit not forgiven because its persistantly the opposite attitude of that, or can someone do something that they can never be forgiven for, even if they do humble themselves, confess it, and turn from their sins? Do some know they are guilty but cannot repent? Or are these verses talking about someone who is unwilling too, or stuck in their ways? are all sins forgiven when someone seeks forgiveness, or are these willful sins beyound forgiveness even then?

I'm 21, highly ambitious and am on track to be a doctor. My boyfriend of 2 years, whom I love dearly and is so sweet, is - to put it politely - the opposite of ambition. We both want to have children together someday, but I can't stand the thought of a couch potato fathering my children! He admits he has no goals or aspirations, and is content with stagnating in his current dead-end culinary career. What do I do when I care about someone so deeply, whose educational and financial goals are so contrary to mine?

ok well, heres the situation... I pretty much have A's in every class except band (yes, band..) I'm really upset right now, and am wondering if colleges care about freshman-- since it will definately wreck my 4.0 GPA. I'm still upset because freshman year is supposed to be one of the easier years, and i blew it..

reason for my grade in Band: the music was not given to us (this year there were too many trumpets), and i could not share with other people because they sat too far away. The problem is, i didnt ask for a copy (its stupid now that i think about it, but at the time i didn't want to bug him and thought he would understand). Theres only one week of school left (finals) and ive asked him if there was something i could do to make up for the days i didnt play, but from the looks of it, he won't give the time to find something for me to do...

so it's like an inverse relationship of like the number of rejection goes up, confidence level goes down
i'm almost empty on confidence now, what do i do?
the rejections are not mean or anything, but it still hurts
