Someone I know and very close w/ was dating this guy for 9 yrs & they never were married b/c he was married and stayed in the marriage to keep his pension, not pay child supp. etc. and he treated his wife like a dog. The person I know and this guy stop seeing each other around decem. b/c he started seeing someone else they work with since august supposedly probably longer but whatever. They all work together and HAD a friendly working relation. today the person I know found out that these two are getting married and he decided divorce his wife, she called him and asked him about it and he confirmed it si its not a rumor. What would you do to get through it? She is very hurt, it was a lot of wasted time and what advice can I give. I feel that she shouldnt have been talkin to him anyway b/c marriage is marriage no matter the situation and she put up w/ it for too long.

His dad is all about being a good Christian and is obsessed with God. Then he goes and hits his kids. I don't get it. He is so mean and even when I'm around he yells and screams and he's even hit my boyfriend right in front of me. He has scars on his body that he used to tell me were from him falling, and now I find out it's because of his dad. I feel like kicking this guys butt because of what he's doing. My boyfriend and his brother are always afraid when their dad comes home and I'm even afraid when this guy comes home now. The only person that knows is me, and the kids are brainwashed into thinking that what their dads doing is alright. They know it's wrong, but they verbally say it's okay. My boyfriend is over 18 but his brother isn't. what should i do or say to help? Sorry for the terrible grammar and I wasn't sure what section this should go in.

Keep the Catholic jokes to yourself :P I ask because this was a pretty big and hard debate for a church here at home. A sex offender wanted to join thier church. They didn't feel they had a right to turn the man away but they were obviously very afraid to let him anywhere near thier children. What do you think?

Kinda like Dancing With the Star judge paddles. Instead of words let us go back for the time being to STOP and listen. Might be funny and take some heat off but still allow a debate. Alittle order is required here. I love the show, have been thru Debbie, Lisa Starknot and all this. As a fan... some time outs r needed so all can talk. THE , THEIR VIEW.
PS I want Rosie to hang in there and she has taught the two other cast members research and how to scrap. Not a bad thing. Wake up AMERICA that is why I like Rosie and this bcuz what ever it takes to get people to look into what is happening I am for it. Except these performers are suffering badly this week . U can see the reality in their faces and stance.

okay... before you say its farce, I know its real!
I have had first hand experience. I grewup in India.
And by what I understand and know about it, it was never born with an intention to cause any harm. It was a very radical science and even today it is practiced that way by many.

But my question is... can it be called a science? as it actually contradicts several scientific laws... and there is no rational explanation about how it works.

and it cannot be called an art as it is a mere ritual which lacks any kind of aesthetic beauty, even though it has traditionally been associated with religions and cultures.

but it has to fall under either of those categories because it is a concentrated action which has a desired effect!

what is your opinion?

My son got hit with a bat on accident by his sister. He has a knot but we are using ice and I think he is ok. I know he has to stay awake for awhile but I don't know how long.

how do you get lie detecting machines liable in court? because my dads ex-wife is lieing under oath and commiting perjury and making my dad pay money to her for child support when my dad and mom alread paid and plus the child has already turned 18 and is getting ready to turn 19 in july.
