My teacher, Mrs. Sweeny, says that animals do not think.
I wish I could prove her wrong! (By the way she is not my science teacher) Does anyone know any websites or books where I could find something about this topic.
I beleive that some animals can think, but some can't.
I think that a jelllyfish mostly relies on instinct because it does not have a brain....But, an animal that is more complex...like a dog, bird, chimpanzee, dolphin, or reptile can.

What the heck is that?
Thanks everyone in advance

Question Details: k, yesterday i was reading the NY times (May 21) there was an interesting article about india and its hunger for power, (electricty). It talkes about how nearly have the popluation has no electricty, and that in Gurgoan ( a city south of New Delhi) has power cuts almost every day. in short basically it says that even though India is growing in a fast pace, but it lacks simple things such as electricty, and it will not stop for a long time, because the politicians are corrupt? (And the nuclear power plants wont help that much). what do you think, can we change our ways, to help our country, throw me some ideas.

If we were traveling at a very high speed, is it possible that what seems to a "slow" observer to be a black hole, is not a black hole for us traveling way faster?

If we were sucked by a black hole, wouldn't our speed vastly? If it did, then couldn't we accelerate to a speed where that black hole is no longer a black hole?

Just wondering :)

Sodium azide, NaN3(s), is used to inflate airbags. On impact, the sodium azide is ignited by an electrical spark producing nitrogen gas and solid sodium. The Nitrogen gas inflates the airbag.

1. Using the information above, write a blanced reaction using the smallest whole number coefficient and physical state of each chemical.

2. In terms of atoms, what type of reaction is described above?

3. What is the total number of moles present in a 130g sample of NaN3(s)

4. Assuming all of the sodium azide reactants, how many grams of solid sodium are produced?

5. An inflated airbag has a volume of 5.00 x 10^4 cm^3 at STP. The density of nitrogen gas at STP is 0.00125 g/cm^3. What is the total number of molecules of nitrogen gas in the airbag.

Thanks!

Judging by the answers I've read, it seems that Jehovah Witnesses believe that you must be saved and do good works for salvation, BUT this may not be enough (that God still may not remember you). Is there no way to know for sure?

If this is how you believe, please give Biblical references for why you believe this way. Thanks.

To non-Witnesses: Please be kind in your responses.
