This is what Jesus said in Matthew 5:27-29:

"You have heard that it was said, 'Do not commit adultery.' But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman ***lustfully*** has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.

This is what Paul said in Ephesians 4:17-24:

So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts. Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, with a continual ***lust*** for more. You, however, did not come to know Christ that way. Surely you heard of him and were taught in him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus. You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

this is no longer a sin to seem at a woman and picture "wow, she is fairly, very beautiful", that may no longer lust. Lust is wanting her for sexual reasons and easily perusing her in an improper way. Like in case you think of "guy, she's warm. I could desire to have intercourse together with her" and then bypass as much as her and peruse that previous theory, then this is a sin. this is human nature to have an interest in human beings. this is the style you're taking action is what you're able to be able to desire to be careful of. this could look extraordinary, yet God made intercourse to be a pretty loving action between a husband and his spouse. whilst human beings turn intercourse into some thing grimy, then it truly is sinful. i'm hoping I helped! God bless!

Lust is a strong desire.

Paul says he had not known lust; Except the law says thou shalt not covet.

I think I know what your asking. I don't think it is a sin. I think it causes suffering because you are conditioning your mind to desire something that you often won't get. Then when you do get it half the time you will end up disappointed.

Lust is an ungodly desire that originates from the flesh....as opposed to the Holy Spirit....

Only a born again Christian can understand that though....
Don't expect an unbeliever to get it.

Lust as in desire is just human nature. Acting on it as in forcing your desires on another and unwilling person is both a crime and a religious transgression.

I am confused about what you just said.. i understood a little of it, but to answer your question, lust is not a sin in my book... It is just another law made to control humans!
