I've finally started to try and get to a healthy weight. I'm avoiding using the word diet, because it's more of a long-term change. Anyway, so I'm 160 now, and eventually I want to get to 125 or something. I've done well, but my problem is that I eat, and then I get hungry like an hour later! I tried to eat high protein and fiber things, because research showed that they make you fuller longer, but it's not working that great.
Anyone find ways to stay fuller longer to stay on track/avoid eating things I shouldn't? Or is the only trick high will-power?
Any input is appreciated :)

why has the depiction of heaven and hell seemed to remain constant throughout history and among different faiths? if you look back at the many religions that predate christianity and judaism, many of which were polytheistic, and their descriptions of heaven and hell, they're almost identical with the exception of the deities that are present. how do you explain this? you can't say god revealed heaven and hell to them without revealing himself. by the description of heaven, i'm referring to a place that is in the sky which is reserved for the righteous. by hell, a place of fire and torment where the wicked go. please explain.

I recently was accepted for transfer into the UCLA department of design media arts, as well as a pre-major in the Interdisciplinary Computing & The Arts Major at UCSD and I wanted to get people's opinions on which might be a better program. Im a little on the fence here, but at this point I see myself going to UCLA, for a variety of reasons, but mainly because of the location(in terms of getting a job, I hate westwood), and also because Im already in the program there, unlike at UCSD where theres still a chance I might not get into the major.
Any thoughts? Anyone? has anyone graduated from either program that could shed some insight?

The equation is this:
Wt = ae^gt
The t in Wt is subscript so i assume it doesn't make any difference to the equation i.e. 'Wt' would be the same as 'x'
e is the number e
W = 735
a = 1.0
g = 1.1
I need to rearrange to find t
If it helps I had to solve it to find Wt using 3 as t, this is how I did it
Wt = 1xe^(1.1x3)
Wt = 27.1

i have 2 x 21/2" carp,
2 x 2" goldfish,
2 x blue goldfish 2 1/2"(not sure exact name),
1 x catfish 2 1/2",
3 x light cream colour 1 1/2"
3 x grey with red tip to tail and fin= 11/2"
any help with names and if it's alright to keep them together(i hope so)

Husband and wife are getting all snugly in bed. The passion is heating up. But then the wife stops and says “I don’t feel like it, I just want you to hold me.”
The husband says “WHAT?”

The wife says, “You must not be in tune with my emotional needs as a woman.”

The husband realizes that nothing is going to happen tonight and he might
as well deal with it.

So the next day the husband takes her shopping at a big department store.

He walks around and has her try on three very expensive outfits. She can’t decide. He tells his wife to take all three of them. They go over and get matching shoes worth $200 each. Then they go to the Jewelry Department where she gets a set of diamond earrings.

The wife is so excited. She thinks her husband has flipped out, but she does not care. She goes for the tennis bracelet. The husband says, “But you don’t even play tennis, but OK, if you like it then let’s get it.”

The wife is jumping up and down – she’s so excited, she cannot believe what is going on.

She says “I’m ready to go, let’s go to the cash register.” The husband says, “No - no - no, honey we’re not going to buy all this stuff.” The wife’s face goes blank, “No honey - I just want you to HOLD this stuff for a while.”

Her face gets really mad and she is about to explode and the husband says “You must not be in tune with my financial needs as a man.”

So far I have received some pretty valid answers to my questions on this site. So my questions keep poring in. I will be visiting my family this summer for my parent’s anniversary. I am extremely happy to go and visit all my long last relatives. I am an independent women and the rebel of the family free spirited traveler. I have always been unconventional and eclectic in my lifestyle. I am happy and fulfilled with my chosen life style. My worry is that when I am faced with the more traditional family members I am going to be hounded with questions such as: Why are you still single? When are you getting married? Where is the man in your life? I will also be the 3rd, 5th or 7th wheel you get the idea. How do I politely handle this issue with out offending any of my family members?

An Irresponsible Dog Owner was the cause of me falling face down in a pile of mud while trying to prevent my dogs from attacking his unleashed dog. His dog ran up to me and my dogs attacked. When the Irresponsible Dog Owner tried to assist me, my dogs tried to attack him.

I think my dogs were being protective. Protecting me from a unleashed dog and a total stranger. My dad think my dogs are a lawsuit waiting to happen. I disagree. What do you think?

an admonishment to "do your own homework," instead of either answering the question or not answering the question. Do these people not understand the community guidelines? Do they feel so outraged that someone would ask for help with homework on Y! Answers? Does anonymity embolden them to be rude when they would be civil in an analogous real-life situation?
