She's due soon and can't find any girl names her husband likes too.
They had the name Dane picked out for a boy, but nothing for a girl.
The last name is Carr and they like classic names that arn't over used or unique names that arn't too out there. Any ideas?

I am putting together snacks for my sons soccer team, and have of course included things such as 100% juice, milk, fruits, veggies, granola, peanut butter and yogurt - however, some of the kids want their "favorites" which include things like cheetos and oreos. Does anyone know of some happy medium between the two? (No, I am not serving ANY oreos!) Thanks!

I find it dull, stupid and it looks they are flying a "teffal or metal thing from my kitchen"...The costumes are like pyjamas and the acting is below average ! But I do Love Star Trek the New generation as well as Voyager. Am I the only one who think the old serie suck ?

I am so sick of all of the restrictions and all of the misguided fear. I thought that we would've eventually gotten some of our rights back, but it seems they only ever decrease.

Why are we content to fly barefoot and thirsty? Because of two minor incidents that might have possibly taken out one plane, everyone has to take their shoes off and go without water.

Why are people so easily made scared by a few plane incidents? From the 60's on we were averaging perhaps one terrorist attack on airplanes per year. That's a very very low risk. We face a much more real threat from car accidents, muggings and guns than from any form of terrorism.

And isn't the point of terrorism to make us scared? So hasn't the post 9-11 reaction been the greatest victory they could ever hope to achieve?

And let's face it, another 9-11 could never ever happen. If someone even tried to take over a plane now, all of the passengers would attack.

So when can we please return to normal?

A nice theory? or is it a saying that teaches us that we should shut our eyes and ears to what is happening around us and if we ignore it long enough, it will eventually go away?

If we just simply tolerate everything, aren't we then saying anything and everything is okay? I'm not talking about things like child molestation, rape, wife beatings, etc. I think any ethical person would agree that those issues are completely wrong to do. But the punishments the courts give to those criminals aren't stopping others from doing it nor stopping them from doing it again when they are released. If our punishments aren't severe enough, aren't we just stil tolerating it? Aren't we just living our lives and ignoring the ones around us?

What are your opinions about the "Live and Let Live" saying? How do you think "eye for an eye" or "turn the other cheek" fits in with it? Thanks for your input!
