what is Christian Josh. I have read so many things on this yahoo answers that makes me wonder if christians even know the meaning. There is so much hatred spread between religions, racers or creeds. For what reason? For a belief in God or Jesus. Jesus didn't frown on ANY man no matter what they were or what they have done. He loved all( even his enemies). GOd is a forgiving God and it is stated many times he waits for you to want him in his life. HE does not hate. So what is so christian about the struggles of who is right and who is wrong. If you want the kingdom of heaven, if you truly beieve in God or Jesus Christ then be a christian and quit all this hate. Those who do not believe have only been left astray from those who say they are Believers. In this statement we first lead them away from God then banish them becuase they do not believe in what we pushed them away from. Am I a Christian? That is not for you to decide. That is for God to judge.

I am a Jew

since Christian means one that knows the Messiah and follows Him =from the Greek word for the anointed one =Cristos=

I have let Messiah into my heart to save me from sin and thanked him as promised for dying for me Isaiah 52:13-chapter 53.

Yes I let Him into my heart as He asks Revelation 3:19&20, and I follow the Messiah Jesus my savior and best friend

To answer this question is to really make an examination of one's self. The rootword of the word christian is "Christ." To be a Christian is to follow Christ's footsteps. Do I really know who Christ is? Matthew 7:20 reads, "Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them." The fruits mentioned here are the fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance (Galatians 5:22). This means that one doesn't only profess to be a Christian, but he/she should show it in his/her life. And then one will see that he/she is different from others and that his/her life influences others to be Christlike too. This is the real meaning of being a Christian. Those who know me will be able to tell whether I am a Christian or not.

No. I don't believe God exists, so I don't feel I need to repent sins which Christians claim were defined by God.

No, I'm Jewish.

It's an interesting experiment to see how many thumbs down one gets just for answering a question of "Are you this religion?"
