if Starbucks printed this statement on one of their cups?

"Why in moments of crisis do we ask Allah for strength and help? As cognitive beings, why would we ask something that may well be a figment of our imaginations for guidance? Why not search inside ourselves for the power to overcome? After all, we are strong enough to cause most of the catastrophes we need to endure."

Why is it ok to denounce the Judeo-Christian God, but not the Muslim god?

Everytime I call medicaid the dumb *** that works there tells me something differant.
Here is my story...
I have been to the emergency room twice just to check on my baby because I have not been able to get my medicaid yet.
They need a proof of pregnancy note signed from a doctor, but they wont give you that in the emergency room....
First I brought medicaid my discharge papers from the ER that says im in my 1st trimester of Pregnancy, and my blood work that has my hcg levels on it...
That wasn`t good enough... So I had an ultrasound done at the ER last time and they gave me the written statement about my u/s which says my baby was 6 wks 3 days...and that the baby has a steady heartbeat of 122 beats per minute..
Why is that not good enough???
They say I have to go see a doctor and thats 300 dollars for a visit... not including the lab work.
It`s like they are stressing me out on purpose!!!!!!

Tell me what u think the implications about men is in this passage. (whether or not u accept it as religiously valid). Genesis 34, "Now Dinah the daughter Leah had borne to Jacob, went out to visit the women of the land. Was it because of guilt or do u think he really loved her? Doesn't that seem odd?

I've been told the reason god does not provide any evidence of his existence is because he wants people to decide for themselves.

In a couple of days the proof will be finally revealed after millennia - does that mean people will not be able to decide any more? Will everybody go to heaven or hell after that?

If it's hell, they are pawns of satan and must be stopped!

If it's heaven, how can they delay providing the proof and therefore not help save everybody who dies in the meantime?

Me and my best friend have been close for 3 years. He's the one i can talk to about everything and i'm the only girl that can "open him up" (pretty lucky to have that considering the fact he's the "shy boy" private-person type). He's liked me all this time and just recently i started to develop feelings for him. We care for each other deeply but decided that if the right time came, it would just happen - no rush. Recently, we just lost someone we knew - he was very close to him. I know i'm not being a pushover and i don't wanna annoy him so i would (now and then) call and txt to see how he's doing.

It's been a week since we last "talked" - it was only for 2 minutes and he said he was gonna call but never did. He's the shy guy type and i know he's waiting for me to call him but it's hard for me to because i'm not the agressive type - i don't wanna bug BUT i do want to be a good friend. how can i be there for him if i'm having issues myself? Why doesn't he call me? Should i cal him?

I took out a loan from one of those payday advance places. I made my payments regularly for about 4 payments, then fell behind and couldn't contiue to pay. The place told me that they were going to take the money direct from my account through and ACH, so i made a stop payment. They have been calling me like crazy, but when I try to talk to them to work something out, they just want the full payment, which I can't make. I wasn't that worried about it until a friend of mine said it was a felony. Is this true?
