There are only what, 155 million females in the US.

Of them, maybe 1/3 are sexually active (i.e., not children, not aged, and honestly, frequently dating).

So you're down to about 50 million for your pool of people who might ever need an abortion.

Most are done in the 1st trimester - which relative to later trimesters is a good thing. But that's still a few months - during which you're not creating a 'need' for another abortion.

Most people do use birth control and if you're using it properly it's 90-95% effective. I know, I know, some reports say 70%, but assuming you can put a condom on correctly or actually stay on the pill, it's more like 90-95%.

Then there is the morning after pill - or pills - - you can take 3-4 birth control pills the day after and if you're pregnant, in all likelihood you probably soon won't be.

And there are 1 million per year.

That probably means that at least 1/3 are casual - i.e., a form of birth control.

Are you OK with that?

I have an accord 96 that has 100,000kms on it. had an oil change recently.

A few days after this oil change, I had an overheat and after this overheat, the oil pressure warning light started acting eratically.

First, after a cold start, the light does not turn on but after the engine warms up, the light flashes. The problem is, while revving the engine, the light goes off and immediately goes on again when the engine is idle.

To address my original problem, mechanics informed me that they would change the oil sending unit, change thermostat valve and thermostat switch.

After this, the problem was still the same (light goes off with revving). They recommended a general overhaul for the reason that the engine had so much sludge and they blamed the problem on the engine flush that was included during the change oil.

Now, i really dont know what to do next. General overhaul is too expensive for my budget.. Any tips?

okay look. For science my son has to build a bird plane that can fly. He's being graded upon how far it flys.

and i am concerned that I am not sure if the best way to dispose of all of these old video tapes, is to throw them in the recycle bin ?

I would like to find a place to display a large “art thing” made of Old video tapes - This could be done easily by taking all the old videotapes I have and gluing them or melting them together and spelling out, “Love the Earth - Recycle” and then I would just need a place where this art/ recycle project, could be displayed some where.

My fiance got a settlement from his previous employer that included some compensatory damages. He also drew unemployment for a while. How is this going to affect him on the upcoming tax year??? Should he try and pay some estimated tax on this money so he doesn't get penalized?? They said that they would send him a 1099 form but he is afraid that he willhave to pay his unemployment back if he has to report it on this form. Does anyone know?? Your answers will be a great help to us as we try to plan for our wedding and the purchase of a home with some of this money. Thanks!!

The WIFI will connect but it is slow when connecting to pages using Internet explorer 7 (or sometimes does not connect at all). I also tried firefox. My desktop is on the same network (and is WIFI) and does not have this problem. I tried disabling many vista security features but that helped little. The WIFI component is a 802.11b/g. Sometimes WIFI works good but it generaly causes more of a hassle than anything. My friend brought over his Dell XPS and it connected with no problems. What are my options to fix this problem?

I fell @ a friends and hurt myself, since my Dr. was looking after my back, he ignored my fall. 7 mths later I got him to MRI. It showed torn rotator cuffs, tendons torn on both shoulders. I just had surgery Apr.2./07 My fall was July 28/06.
The lawyer bit...due to not being able to live on $900.00 a mth.,
I had to tell my boss, friend that I had to sue his insurance. He took it personal and is now suing me for $13k. (My pays.)
He is just doing this to hurt me. He filed in the farthest court he could, knowing that I cannot drive, due to the fall. The 1st lawyer did not keep me up on correspondance, wrote letters without speaking to me, getting my surgeon furious, etc.
We did not click when he seemed to believe what the Ins. said, without asking me about anything. He stated things wrong that I had told him. This is the same with the doctor(s).
I am now looking for a "go get 'um, contingency, help me while we're going through this lawyer...and a Dr. that really listens.
