When you retire... You get paid for NOT going to work?
But seriously!.. To take care of our health is paramount.
Regular exercises, Yoga, Tai Chi, whatever it takes to stay healthy and in good shape.
Quality of living, enjoying life to the fullest will determine how old you are.. Good luck!
Small advise from a retired person and a Tai Chi master.

I am 55.
Thanks to 21 years of weightlifting, I am bigger and stronger than my entire life.
I have had a good 50 years! of listening to rock and roll music.
The older I get, the more money I make. I will be rich by the time I am age 65.
I still can learn the lyrics to songs. Now I am learning rap and heavy metal.
I have more electronic toys to buy and own. And more coming.
I now have internet, ipod, microwave ovens, cell phones, digital cameras, computers, great cars. All these things did not exist when I was young.
Diseases that would kill you 30 years ago, are now treatable.
Jack LaLanne is 93. Is HE too old?
My best friend is 85, and a bodybuilder. I am a strength trainer.
Things I stopped doing when I got older;
Owning fish.
Owning water turtles.
Owning land turtles.
Owning lizards, birds, etc. Almost to end of dogs. This is my last dog!!
Riding a bicycle.
Fixing my own car.
Changing my own tire. I have AAA. Why bother?
Sleeping in a hot house with no a/c. Had not been invented when I was a kid.
Too old for me is when I take my last breath. Knowing when they carry me to the funeral home, it will take 6 guys to carry me. I am that muscular and big.

Something I do, now, I did not do when I was young;
looking in the mirror and saying "sweeeetttt." It is good NOW, to be me. When I was young, it sucked!!

Getting old is a mindset. Like all things in life, it's a process of progression. The resistence ups in life in order to get you to grow and expand. If ever there was a point in time that you would indefinitely stop growing, you'd cease to exist. The universe itself grows. There is nothing with awareness that does not grow, and there is awareness in all things to an extent. Thus, the aging process is a reflection to and challenge of your growth. If you've grown learning that when you get all these things are going to happen. That you'll age and become decrepit and ugly, that you'll become immobile and bitter, that this and that will happen. That's setting forth subconscious intentions within yourself that maybe you don't want but accept due to their "reality". There is no thing that isn't mind. Especially when referring to humans. There is a group in the middle east called the "Hunzas" who have eighty year old men who run around and play soccer like they're twenty. It's not uncommon for a 90 year old male in Hunzan society to father children. At 100 years a Hunza is never considered old or elderly. The expectations upon them simply aren't there and they live very physically active lives of health and proper care of their bodies. Most importantly the expectations and thoughts about them and their age are much different than in this society. I believe you only get old when you believe you're old and this usually sets into physical manifestation when first and foremost you eat food that is terrible for you. Even if you eat bad food, I believe that your bodies response to it is still on some level very mentally related. People's responses to eating fattening foods very due to their beliefs about it but you can never go wrong eating a carrot. As stated, even if you eat bad food, if you remain active you're almost sure to live longer. No doubt about it. The people who are still gesticulating and smiling and cracking jokes are far more likely to live a good twenty more years than those bent over and looking down and mumbling and sleeping. All things that happen physically are a product of a thought manifestation. If you believe your eyesight can get better, it will have a far greater chance of actually becoming so than if you pushed it out of the question because everyone says to. This is a very strongly intertwined topic, as they all are, with the rest of society. Medicinal companies and pharmaceuticals will never cease to remind you when flu and cold season are around. On how you need such and such medicine in order to get rid of this or that ailment. All containing side effects themselves mind you. Your body has every modern medicine known to man and then some in itself, with most often never having any side effects. Why is it that animals seem never to get sick but every now and then in it's entire lifetime, but humans seem to multiple times a year? Humans don't eat fresh plants like animals do. Humans don't remain active most commonly. But most importantly, Humans do hold beliefs about age and sickness that those without do not, and thus their beliefs affect their actual realities in like manner. Use this information to your benefit, it will give you a few years onto your life. Guaranteed.

Oh, I feel for you.

Age is a matter of perception in addition to some arbitrary system of marking time.

I would tell you, but then you wouldn't have figured that one out for yourself. What I can say is that difficulties with age is an attachment to the past and what once was rather than what is.

You couldn't pay me enough to be young again.

Being too old only occurs when you cease to enjoy what you do. For some that comes at 3 and some 1,000.

Getting old can be degrading, demoralizing, disinteresting, filled with nothing but degredation, but it can also be the opposites. And the great thing about it nobody knows who gets what.

Speaking from personal experience, age brings new discovery and joy. Suckiness is just the state of mind one has when they realize they no longer have mastery of their life. But the ugly secret is that no one ever does, so enjoy the existence you currently have and look forward to the new things you'll discover tomorrow.

It depends on what age. I would say that 80-90 might suck because you loose your mobility and have to depend on someone else to take care of you. That being said, getting old is a great thing that many people experience.

Well, in my 20's I used to be a master at hacky-sack. Man, I could keep it up forever.....(hahaha, no, I'm not a guy)....Now I find at 50, well, the old hips and knees just ain't what they used to be. So, you just find something different that you can "wow" them at. Now-a-days, I just keep 'em laughing.

How old is too old?
According To God 120 years.
(Gen 6:3) And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also [is] flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

Some lived longer as much as 930 years was Adam.(Gen 5:5) or
Methuselah lived 969 years which is 8 times Adam's Grandson.(Gen 5:27)
When should you stop doing what you used to do.?
Whe it no longer has a need in ones life and has no purpose in serving God.
For in the end one does get to meet with God.
But why die?
One can Live Forever.
(Mat 19:16) And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master (Jesus-Yeshua), what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
And Jesus said...
( Mat 19:17) And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? [there is] none good but one, [that is], God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS!!!
Read all Of Mark 19:---
Today we must...
(Jhn 10:28) And I (Jesus), give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any [man] pluck them out of my hand.
(Rom 6:23) For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
NOTE: ***GIFT ***
Why?
( Tts 1:2) In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
NOTE: BEFORE THE WORLD BEGAN
(Act 2:38) Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is the Seed (sperm) of God which grows inside you and becomes a new being with you dwelling within it.
A Child of God You will become with all the power of Jesus which is the power of the Father Almighty God.
(Mat 5:9) Blessed [are] the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
( Luk 20:36) Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.
(Jhn 11:52) And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.
(Rom 8:16) The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
(Rom 8:17) And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with [him], that we may be also glorified together.
( Rom 8:21) Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
(Rom 9:8) That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these [are] not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.
So you see you can Live foreever if you know and do what must be done.
