thats right honey. for some reason...(greed) illegals are trying to bully us because they know they're wrong about what they've done and they won't face themselves about this...it'll keep going on until our govt gets a firm warning from us real americans.

please note...I am using an anology when I speak of flag.
Exellent question. Its really sad that this is a question and that there is a threat like this before us. It's funny when you see people move to america. Holding a flag of another country high while saying how proud they are to be american. Its good to have pride for your country of origin. But if you move to america, please do not try and change the american flag to your origional countries flag. There is a reason you moved to america in the first place. Men and women of all colors and heritages and backgrounds bled for the freedoms in america. These freedoms were fought in battlefields, courtrooms, hospitals, schools and buses and more! In the end the american flag was held high. Please do not disrespect the people who gave you your right to live in a free country. Remeber that you live in america the beautiful. Not Mexico the beautiful or Italy the beautiful or Ireland the beautiful or even puerto rico the beautiful.

Who's tampering with it? The national anthem should be kept in the language of the country. Even thought I am pro-guest worker program, I wouldn't like our star spangled banner to be sung in any other language but English, the way it was originally written.

Do not let me hear the national anthem of the United States of America sung in any language but English while on sovereign American soil.
I am prepared to defend MY country and all it stands for, any place, any time, from any enemy. No matter what the cost.

Better yet - go to Germany and try to change the words to "Deutschland uber Alles." Not even Hitler had the guts to try that - and we should pander to the pro-illegals?
Isn't pro-illegal, illegal?
The only time I know of when a National Anthem was "modified" in a reasonable way was "Oh, Canada" when they changed some words so they meant something and you weren't continually repeating yourself.

For those that came to this country via Ellis Island - they learned to speak English as best as they could, their hands were over their hearts when the American Anthem was played - sung, they flew the American Flag - they became AMERICANS!
We are a melting pot, yes.. a little of this and a little of that - but we have always remained AMERICANS - not Polish Americans - German Americans - etc.. I have a rich heritage, but I am - AM - AMERICAN!
Those that came her via Ellis Island learned to read English - those people brought HONOR with them, and PRIDE.. what is coming in now, are CRIMINALS - PERIOD!
Criminals belong in prison, not to be rewarded for their incorrect conduct.
LEARN ENGLISH!
The best thing we can do for those that come here illegal, is send them all home, or give them to another country.

No....It should be in English ONLY. The person that had the idea to make a Spanish version is actually Caucasian and the people that sing it are actually Puerto Rican not Mexican. (Ivy Queen, Gloria Trevi, Carlos Ponce, Tito "El Bambino," Olga Tañon and the group Aventura.) The only Mexican is Gloria Trevi and I doubt it’s only for Spanish speaking Mexicans. There are also Central Americans, South Americans, etc...............
