If I serve someone (I know this person and am serving him as a favor for a friend) who refuses to take the papers (in a sealed envelope with his name) can I just throw them at him and consider him served?

Why do some believe in God. I fully respect your right to, but can you tell me why? Do you believe because you were raised to? Or do you believe because you really do from your heart? This has puzzled me for a lifetime. I don't and I don't understand why some do, but I'm not going to sit here and be disrespectful either. I come to this section to try to understand why there is this belief.

Hear me out before you answer...

I know in society a lot of emphesis is put on letting your kids know you care, and there should be. But is there a point that you can make your kids weaker, or in need of constant approval or affection, by showering them with TOO much love?

I love my son to death, but I am a little concerned that if we tell him we love him 50 times a day, like we do (even when we are punishing him), he is going to end up being too needy in adult relationships when he gets older.

Any thoughts on this?

when i asked her what she would do if she was on campus and saw me running by in the buff, she said "I would chase after you...but I'd be more worried of some big jock guys chasing you and catching you instead...wouldn't want them to do something to embarrass you more"

What could she be referring to...what can they possibly do to embarrass me more???

I recently joined the United States Navy and I am leving for boot camp in about a month, my fiancee has been in the navy for a year and a half already and now he is about to complete his first 8-month deployment, he will be coming back home for about 10 days before i leave to boot camp, We really love each other and i really find him to be the right person for me, i know that he might have changed a lot after his deployment, but i am pretty sure that those changes wont matter for me, loving him the way i do..and well we are uncertain about getting married before i leave to boot camp or after, i would like to get station wher he is at, but i dont know what probabilities we have of doing that... although, i've seen a lot of comments that when military couples get married there is a big chance for a divorce.. i really love him and i know he loves me too.. and i really dont wanto to get divorced.. what should i do?
