akward silence?

when im on aim and i talk to the girl i like we have GREAT conversations most of the time, but then every once and awhile well just have a couple minutes of akwardness, were no one says anything, and i dont really know what to say, any ideas? just something that i could say that could lead to other topics so we can have a conversation instead of just sitting there not talking

Try singing a romantic song in those moments of awkwardness.

Sometimes when the convo dwindles out, she can't think of anything more to say. You're gonna have to fill in the emptiness. Ask her about herself. People love to talk about themselves, and she should be no exception. What is she into? Say she plays basketball. Ask her how that's going. She'll talk about it, and you'll find some places where you can make comments or ask more questions. The conversation will start to flow.

The silences are just her way of trying to hint that she isn't really enjoying chatting with you. (Women are rarely honest enough to openly say this).

She's chatting to probably at least a dozen other guys, you're just not high enough on her list of priorites that she will really bother with the conversation.

The best thing you can do is next time things go quiet just turn off the computer and walk away.

be random.. lighten the mood ... say something like so this guy walks into a bar right.. lol tell a joke .. get her to laugh...
