When I play with my cat, I always take the time to inspect her dewclaws, just because it's fascinating to think "this is where Lucky's thumb would be, if she had thumbs." It's thrilling to think that this small furry person -- who wakes me every morning by pricking me with her claws until I'm too annoyed to remain in bed -- is in fact my cousin many-many-many-many times removed.

Dogs also have dewclaws; and if you inspect a bat's wings, you can't help noticing how the long splayed-out support bones resemble the fingers of the human hand.

And finally, the fossil record tells us that the ancient species which was the first horse had toes much like our own; the bones have since fused together into the hoof of the modern horse.

I think this is all rather wonderful. So why do the anti-evolution types cringe at the thought of being related to other mammals -- including our closest relatives, the great apes?

we have been together over 2 years, we have been through a lot, and we fighted and hurt each other too much, so 2 days ago I broke up with my bf, he was very pissed off, he said ok we should both move on now.
Yesterday I saw him on a dating website, when we were together, he suspended that account, yesterday I thought he might be there, so I looked up and I did find him there. The moment I saw his name on the screen, it hurt like hell. I love him very much, I cant accept that he is acting so fast, I cant accept he would hold another woman in arms instead of me. I couldnt help to call him, he turned the phone off when he knew it was me. So the whole night I couldnt sleep at all, I sent him lots of messages, I was like crazy...

I've always wondered:

How does it work that when you're passing the different scenes and sequences you hear the right sounds and audio at the right time and everything harmonizes perfectly?

Remembering the Marine barracks in Beirut and the recent attack by 2 dump trucks on the 82nd that killed 9 US troopers, what is the plan? The Engineers can build anything given enough time and money but what do you do in one day? Concrete blocks making a serpentine and small arms do not stop trucks. Truck motors can run for a few minutes with holes in them. Trucks can still move with flat tires. Trucks loaded with HE will take out everything within 300 yards. Remember you only have 24 hrs. Stop one truck bomber and word will spread.

It does not take a lot of guts to go into a ring with an opponent not worthy of boxing pee wee herman as clay did and beat his brains out. clay was a coward for not serving his country. Many of us answered the call to duty knowing it was not the right war but it was the law. He took the easy way out because the was afraind to die but so were we. 101st Airborne Division infantry 68/69

Well not too many details, just heard from a fish store that I could leave the sand in and it was actually better too to avoid killing the stuff living in the sand. Do I trust this persons opinion... nope so im asking here. Is this a sure fire way to crack my tank or is this a doable method (would be much easier). Technicle info:
Tank-75 gallons (4 by 1.5 by 1.5 feet)
Sand-60 pounds
Manufacturer-All glass
Let me know you all are batting a thousand.
