MBA: Masters in Business Administration
MA: Master of Arts
MSc: Master of Sciences

MA and MS are academic degrees. You can stop after these degrees or go on for a PhD. MS is in the sciences while MA is in the arts. A master's in finance would be an MS, not an MA.

The MBA is a terminal degree that is meant to be more practical and less theoretical than an MA or MS. The best MBA programs are in the US (actually about 18 out of the top 20 programs are in the US). BusinessWeek and US News & World Reports both rank B-Schools. You can view those rankings on their web pages.

In my opinion, the best MBA programs are: Wharton, University of Chicago, MIT, Stanford, Duke, Northwestern, Tuck, Harvard and Columbia
