No - do men feel resentful that women have long, beautiful, versatile hair?! Lol :-p

I personally am not resentful. Women with long hair can pull it up into a ponytail or twist. A lot of women do cut their hair short for easier maintenance I suppose (I personally don't like short hair on women as I think it makes them look more masculine and vice versa...I don't think men should have long hair and look like a woman). Actually, women can do a lot more with their hair than men so I think that men would be more resentful!

I do not feel resentful of anyone with short hair, male or female! I wear my hair medium length now; but I wore it long for years and never felt resentment to any of the shorties out there. There are comfortable things about both short and long hair.

Men and women in western society have many options for hair length and styles; so if men want their hair long they can grow it out, and if women want their hair short they can get it cut. Therefore, there is no need for resentment.

By contrast, when it gets cold in the winter, do men where you live get resentful that women have cozy longer hair?

No, why should they , a women can have short hair if she chooses. Not all short styles for women are masculine, I wear my hair in a short feminine style and get lots of positive comments, mainly from women with longer hair who would love to cut their hair but are too scared of the reaction from husbands or boyfriends. They always seem to have their hair scraped back in a ponytail because they don't have the time to straighten or curl it. My hair takes me 15 minutes max to style and it's in great condition because I have it cut every 6 weeks

I tried to grow out my hair but the ladies told me that I look better with short hair. I think women does not resent it at all. Maybe they envy that men not really a slave for fashion and beauty.

I have short, comfy hair and I'm a woman. It's the short, spiky type, quite a lot like...

This is a unisex cut on a page from Taiwan. I have an Asian hair type (I'm Native American) and when we cut it short, it tends to stick up everywhere. It used to be down to my waist, but I donated it to Locks of Love and haven't gone back since!

I don't think so, cuz there are equally men who like to have long hair, and it sure does not seem to stop those ladies that want to have short hair to have short hair so we have adult "little boys" walking around everywhere.

I sometimes envy the trend of short hair in men, but women now have short hair styles that are very popular and socially acceptable. So no, I think we'll do fine with our own hair styles thanks.
