we used to date and he hurt me really bad by getting w/ someone else adn not dumping me or anything then calling to rub in he had her and she was preg. i gave up, and when i did he tried to get me back but i cussed him out ( been through too much pain to take him back ) anwyays now its 4 years later. we recently started talking again. he talks like he watns to get back togheter and then ignores me for 1 to 4 weeks. also he keeps saying things like " if my wife dumps me ill give you another chance " ( like im soupposed to feel lucky? ) then he says " In 16 years if ur still around ill get with you " then he made plans with me one time and broke them.

I tried to take my PC back to factory settings but the screen went blank and a message appeared which said. The corruption on your windows partition is too extensive to perform the restore option selected. If I buy a new hard drive will it sort out the problem?

ok so i woke up with cramps at 6 am took 4 ibuprofen then started getting ready for school.. and well at 7:30 during school still had them so i took 2 tylonol.. by noon.. still not working.. so i took 2 advil... 3;30 took 4 more ibuprofin.. still not working.. went to my track meet and exercizsed and i still have them... its well 1155 pm now and i still have them.. what can i do to get rid of them!

i do work out and eat healthy everyday, cucumbers, grapefruits, veggie thin crackers plain, dry cereal,sandwhices on brown bread and LOTS of water is what consume all day. and go on a uphill teadmill 20 mins a day in sweats

I just read a report that a multi-million dollar probe in space spotted an object twice the size of jupiter orbiting a star within the distance of mercery to our own sun and doing so in 1.2 days time. Would that not make for a very large near light speed super object?

In a pub last week, one lad attacked another and elbowed me in the process, giving me a black eye. The police took statements and the lad was to be charged with assaulting the other lad. However, he has been cautioned. I am left with a very bruised face and eye - can I prosecute even though he didn't really mean to hurt me? If so, how do I go about it?

Just curious what people think.

This question assumes the point of view that Russia is moving quickly enough to be noticed towards a totalitarian regime again. Considering their methods of controlling the supply of oil to Europe (with their multiple stoppages in supply for political reasons) as well as what is now perceived as a strong shift towards a totalitarian, USSR style "communism"...

So Red China already exists, but they have what is becoming more and more a capitalist economy under that communistic regime. The U.S. has considered China to be neither foe nor friend in recent years.

Which nation is the bigger threat overall and what can we do about Russia's shift in policy? Nothing? Something?

Interested in whatever you have in response to this or in contribution to the question itself.

Curious.

I have this thing, not so sure how to describe it but...it's on the inner of my lip. it's not on my gums but the part that touches it...like inside of my lip. it's white and it hurts. Stings..when i move my mouth or touch it with my tongue. it's little red and swollen but not really noticiable. I think it might be because for the last few days i haven't had sleep and even if i did it was like...maybe less than 3~hours. I had lots of stress doing paper work for school and my neck and body was all stiff and aching as well. I didn't get the chance to eat proper meals...3 times a day...so I skipped a lot. Do you think vitamins will help? I do have an insurance but it's for the summer..so I can't use it right now.

I did a little research before asking this. Everybody seems to think light is visible. Its not.

Turn on a flashlight and point it away from you. Now think for a moment. Do you see light spewing forth from the flashlight? No, you don't.

Look at a helicopter searching for criminals. Do you see light spewing forth fron the copter? No.

Your sitting in a room. The celing lamp has four 100 watt bulbs in it. Think a moment. Do you see the light? No. You see your surroundings.

Light is invisible. What are we looking at?

Why cant a blind man see?

My cat just now came out from under the bed following a thunder storm. Normally, this cat is fearless. Thunder, on the other hand, scares the hell out of her. She's gone...under the bed...and won't come out until she thinks it's safe. One crack of thunder and she hauls ***.

Can cats be broken of phobias? Obviously, hers are thunder storms. I have never had a cat in my life that was so scared of them. She comes out from under the bed wanting to cuddle and curl up beside me. She's next to me right now, purring but still shaking.

Does anyone else have a cat that has a phobia (other than the norm...dogs, whatever)? I have never seen a cat with such a strong reaction to storms.

She's a 15 year old Himalayan, by the way.
