As long as you don't give in to the "munchies," you're probably OK. It sounds as if you are eating healthy.

Personally, I find that it can help because it makes my treadmill time more enjoyable.

Smoking Marijuanna is illegal unless you are terminally ill, and have a prescription. this shouldn't interfere with your weight loss program. However, it will most likely burn some of those brain cells. Cigarettes, will effect your health. they can cause numerous breathing problems, and diseases ...including cancer. the way you are eating is healthy, but the way you are living your life is not. Maybe you should seek some form of counseling. It sounds tome like the only reason you are eating healthy is to lose weight, and not actually for your health. What good is it going to do you to be thin, if you are dying from emphysema, or lung cancer? You need to do more than eat healthy. You need to come off the dope, and atleast slack up on smoking, and maybe gradually quit. Plus, doesn't marijuanna give you the "munchies?" Eating large portions of food will interfere with your diet program, but mainly the bottom line is, you need to really think about your health. Eating right will not save your life, when you end up with cancer. I'm sure there are several risks to smoking marijuanna as well, so I hope you think about it, and find help, because you have a problem, much larger than you obviously know.

A friend that boarded with me in my townhouse managed to lose weight THROUGH marijuana, becasuse it motivated her and helped her focus on her goal. I am not condoning drugs but I can't deny that it helped her. She smoked very little though, to my relief. I was torn between the right and wrong of of my friend using this substance. But also grateful that she was 100% honest with me and gave me the opotion to chuck her out if I could not accept it. I smoked a few times with her and understood where she was coming from.

I think you need to detox though. Toxins that the liver could not cope with are stored in fat. There comes a point after losing some weight where the fat cells refuse to let go and hold onto their load stubbornly in their attempt to protect your body. Detoxing allows the fat cells to let go and cleanses the entire system.

This a detox diet, so you are cleaning out your system at the same time that you are losing weight. None of the vital food sources are left out.

Search the web for 'cabbage soup diet'. There are a few variations of the cabbage soup itself so pick the one with the ingredients you prefer and then follow the seven day plan, which is the same for all of them. It works, I know because I use it every now and again. (And have been for many years) Mainly after Christmas. And don't worry, you don't ONLY eat cabbage. You lose 5kg+ in one week. (+- 11 lbs) but obviously only if you follow it strictly! (And drink lots of water! Possibly set an alarm on your handy that will beep you every hour during the day, then drink a glass of water. Many people say they forget to drink water until they are thirsty which is too late) .

Don't forget that this IS a Diet and not meant to be continued for weeks on end. After you have lost the weight required, you must evaluate your eating/exercise habits and make consequent changes if you don't want to gain it back.

Good luck

Cigarettes are so bad for you why would someone on such a health kick use them?
I think the marijuana can make you put on. It is used in some cancer patients to help increase appetite after chemo. And I've heard it gives users the munchies, so I'd skip it if you want to loose weight.

Cigarettes speed up your metabolism everytime you smoke and will make you less hungry this is why most people gain 5-10 pounds when you quit smoking. Smoking weed also makes your metabolism go faster but if you get the munchies your diet's screwed.

Well, if you don't mind lung cancer...or not being able to breath after smoking (I found that I couldn't sing well for at least three days after smoking a cigarette) then regular cig's are OK.
Marijuana itself I don't think will make you lose or gain weight, but watch out for the munchies! hehe

Yes, the smoking of anything hurts your lungs which won't help your heart pump the best it can during exercise or accurate circulation anytime. I feel ya... try soy milk w/ your cereal, you can get Silk Light Soy milk and it's good and gives you great proteins and stuff.

cigrettes and weed wont counter what u are doing, although as it directly effects your cardio vascular system it will limit the about youll work out on the treadmill, the less you can do the less fat youll burn the less weight youll lose. Tobacco and weed dont enhance weight gain though.
