I think it is dangerous because:
A. It is redundant legislation, there are laws already on the books to take care of those crimes in general...
B. It may make thought a crime...
C. If you belong to a religion that believes that "unnatural affections" are a sin and you speak about it, you can be heavily fined or even arrested; that has happened already in Sweden and in Canada.
The implications and repercussions of this unnecessary legislation are wide-ranging and possibly dangerous and worst of it all it could be an unconstitutional assault on religious thought, speech, and expression.
It drives me crazy what the liberals are trying to do to this country. They say that it is perfectly fine to kill an innocent baby, but entirely wrong to repeat a verse from the Bible that speaks to a tenet of the faith and under this "hate crimes" legislation they could possibly put you in jail for it.
