Waste of money until the technology has been sorted at the moment its like when video was invented if you bought betamax you made an expensive mistake The different manufacturers can't even decide what colour laser to use

We have HD. To best appreciate HD you need to have a good TV for the picture quality. It is stunning as you say the football is so much better. Nature programmes are the most impressive. Would not be without it I know we have to pay extra £10 but what the heck.

I am not really impressed enough to buy a HDTV .
When the picture signal gets weak it drops out and breaks up .
At least with analog you still have a picture although it may be snowy .
Everything does not benefit from HDTV like sporting events and action movies .
What does HDTV do for comedies and drama ?
I'll wait until another few years when the technology gets better .

Hi every body:
The HD-TV means that the certain tv is compatible to be connected with any video source that already have the hdmi technology(high definition multimedia interface) to reach the resolution or the effeciancy of the hdmi technology(to have aresolution of 1920x1080 pixel instead of 1366x768pixel).in the other hand the full hdmi(high definition multimedia interface) means that the certain tv have the ability to introduce the hdmi resolution with out need to any adapter.

I think it's great! Planet Earth is by far the best looking thing I've seen in HD so far, but any sport looks great as well.

Hi.LASER TV will be available at the end of the year.It promises to be better than anything we have now.
Also,Canon and Toshiba are making available the SED TV(surface conduction electron emitter display.) about the same time.Where will it all end?
Cheers.

HD is amazing, I just wish it wasn't charged as a premium tier on Time Warner Cable.
I my opinion, HD should be the standard by now.
