And he spake also, concerning a prophet, which should come before the Messiah, to prepare the way of the Lord; yea, even he should go forth and cry in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, and make his paths straight; for there standeth one among you whom ye know not; and he is mightier than I, whose shoe's latchet I am not worthy to unloose.(1 Nephi 10:8)
Again, Joe Smith resorts to plagiarism in order validate his book. On the other hand, John the disciple of Jesus gives credit when quoting others.
He said: "I am 'The voice of one crying in the wilderness: make straight the way of the Lord,' as the prophet Isaiah said."(John 1:23) It is He who, coming after me, is preferred before me, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose.(John 1:27)
Can't you see he's taken text straight from the New Testament? And, they're still calling this another testament of Jesus Christ? Do you trust Joe?
