This is a repost- no one even bothered to try answering the other... I am not looking to be convinced, but I would really like to hear what people's arguments are. There are some things that you just can't get from a book.

I was thinking of starting a little company, I hope nobody takes offense to this.

The Catholic church seems to have a problem with promoting condoms in specially Africa, which is one of the reasons the Aids rates are still going up there.

So, I thought about a good way to spread the message of the Church, combined with spreading the message of safe-sex. Condoms with Bible verses printed on them.

Any ideas for good verses to put on the condoms?

I have owned my house for 20 years. There is a storage unit behind my house. It was there before my house was built. Instead of a backyard fence, I have the storage units 11 foot wall for a fence. It is also the back wall of 3 or 4 storage units. I have plants and vines planted near the wall. Over the years when I have forgotten the hose running in the plants , sometimes the water would go into the storage units. Also when we get alot of rain, with our clay ground, the water just sits in the yard, and also goes into the storage units. Yesterday I forgot the water, and a couple of units water got in and caused some damage. I feel I'm on my own property, and the owner should have done something along time ago. He could have raised the floor in the units. I was careless, but I was on my property, and when I water, how do I know how much is too much? I think it was up to the owner to make sure it didn't happen again! He's had 20 years to do something. Who responsible? Me or him?

Suppose, I am on the phone with someone, and saying "One moment please", but it is not enough. There is a certain tone to it. I can mean it in a rude way, like i want to keep them waiting, or I can imply by the tone, i want them to wait some time, or I can tell them with a smile or laugh, like I am trying to be cool with it.

However, in all there cases, i m saying "One moment please", but people can differentiate between all different senarios. First, why is this a deal for people? ie, how it is said more important than what is said? Secondly, what is this effect called? like interlacing a specific tone or conotation to what is being said, in plain english. That is to say, two ideas are conveyed in the same sentence, when talking.

I went out to eat one night and the salad the place served was really good.

It had some kind of veggie in it that looked like a little rose! It was pink and white, and was kinda tangy (but that could have been due to the dressing). Does anyone know what this rose-flower-type vegetable is? I love it! I didn't get to ask the server because I was too busy enjoying it.

Thank you.
