I never understood how a fiscal conservative, religious person ever COULD support Bush with his free-spending evil sinning ways.

As a Goldwater Conservative, I would say that it is impossible to be fiscally conservative while supporting Bush and his ever-expanding Federal government and debt.
Neo-Con is simply shorthand for "mildly retarded English major with an economics class in second year."

Just how do you support or not support a President who has already been elected twice ?
Is saying you support the President, actually supporting him?
Is saying you don't support the President, actually not supporting him?
Since you sound like you think you don't support the President, just how are you going about, not supporting him?
Are you refusing to pay tax's while he is President?
Are you not supporting him in the neogations with North Korea?
With his NASA budget ?
With his Pell Grant funding ?
With his State Department Office of Intelligence funding?
Or is your so called non support 100% ?

I think that, despite anecdotal evidence on Y/A to the contrary, there are many who might be labeled "libs" and "cons" and who do not goosestep to their various party lines.
I'm a registered Democrat who believes in fiscal conservatism, LESS government, ACCOUNTABILITY from all government employees (yes, even our Idiot King). I'm pro-life (ie, anti-abortion/anti-death penalty), and absolutely pro-separation of church/state (even though I'm a practicing Christian). As a Christian, however, I cannot support a bogus "war" based on deception, either...
So, you see, no one really (really!) fits into those neat little labels...

Well, do the Weak Sisters know that supporting a balanced budget will NEVER allow them to achieve their dream of sprinkling vast quantities of money on their political base?

if you're fiscally conservative, I would think you wouldn't support Bush. He's blown more dough than most of the presidents before him combined.

No, too many people feel compelled to adhere completely to one particular social group. It's like high school all over again. I remember the jock, preppies, yo's and freaks. Now they have Emo kids. It's childish if you ask me. Why not form your own truly unique and individual opinion instead?

Of course I know this--I am a fundamentalist Christian and I don't support Bush OR his idiotic war in Iraq!
And there are others like me...you'll find them in the Constitution Party, mostly. :)

Of course. But, on balance, Bush is doing what should be done, much opinion to the contrary notwithstanding. (That does not mean, of course, that I support everything that he does.)

The opposite is also true dumby. You don't have to hate him either because a bunch of uniformed idiots say to.
