Back in the day I learnt how to drive a stick shift car (in the UK) but now I'm in the US and I've gotten lazy and drive an automatic. I'm really interested in buying a classic mini - how difficult are they to drive stick?

Please take into consideration that I live in LA and the traffic is HORRENDOUS!!! I really don't want one calf muscle bigger than the other! :)

My 11 month old dachshund, started, hacking after eating and drinking. Then that stopped and she would dry heave. Then a few days later vomited bile. Went to vet many times. Did x-rays, (showed swollen stomach lining nothing else) Said was gastritis. blood tests, perfect. Changed food to I/D and was on antibiotics as precaution, then pepcid (for dogs) and something to coat intestines. Went away. Then was spayed 2 weeks ago. All okay. Now she started the little cough again. (sounds like she is clearing throat) She was on multi-advantage and now revolution and her stool tested in December. Don't think its worms. I live in Canada, very cold in winter, no mosquitos for past 7 months. She eats well, has tons of energy, poop is fine, everything. One vet said it was bad gastritis, the second opinion was the one that changed her food and gave her meds for tummy.I don't know what else to do. She will have her ball in mouth, and do a little cough/gag. Sometimes, just when doing nothing. any idea

a very dear friend of the family died recently, absolute shock, and very sudden,too...i cannot get this woman dot (dorothy) out of my head.. and i have a strong gut feeling that she took her own life , post mortem revealed no cause off death(so her family are saying)
i dont ever ever get feelings as strong as this, but it wont leave me alone..
is their anybody who can he;p me with this,
i would appreciate anything no matter how small

I have a 18 ft by 4 ft pool, I was thinking of digging out the middle before I put it up for the summer so it will be deeper. I was thinking of about 18" in the ground. but I was worried about stress on the sides seams along the bottom. I bought this from wal-mart last year.

I see many people on this site (mostly Christians) answering questions with a "better safe than sorry" response. I thought that the purpose of religion was to believe in its teachings not because of its promised rewards or consequences, but because of genuine loyalty to the deity.
Have people really become this self-centered and greedy?
