If I interviewed for a job and have not yet heard back from the company when many other people have, how should I approach the matter (keeping in mind that I really really want the job)? I was thinking about calling the person I interviewed with but what should I say?

You could call, and say something like "Hi, this is xxxx, I interviewed with you xx weeks ago for a position as xxxxxx, and I was wondering if you've made a decision yet. I'm very interested in the position, and feel that I could do a really good job for you."

I'm a person which hires and fires people all the time !

What impresses me the MOST, finding a person with an
" I CAN DO" attitude and then enforcing it on their job daily.
