I have been doing 60 minutes on the stairmaster Monday through Friday for 5 weeks. The intensity is good. I sweat a lot and my heartrate is up high. Every other day I add in weight training after the stairmaster. I am 5'9 1/2 and weigh 194 lbs, female. The weight is mainly on my butt and legs. I still do not see any difference in the way my clothes fit or on the scale. I am surprised because I have altered my diet as well. Overall I am eating less and I stay away from sugar. Any tips? Instead of early afternoon, should I workout in the morning? Should I cut out the whole wheat bread I eat during lunch with my sandwich? I plan on keeping with it. Is it normal to not see results after 5 weeks?

I live in Florida, the wedding is in New Jersey. I have helped her every step of the way in planning her big day. She mentioned to me last night her shower is Sunday. I was surprised to hear about it and she evidently heard my disappointment in my voice. She made the excuse only people from New Jersey were invited. I am truly hurt....am I wrong?

I have long, straight hair. I have never permed or colored it, and have not had a child recently. I usually have it in a bun or ponytail. I notice it falling out the most when I'm in the shower. I'll run my hands over my hair while rinsing and will get a handful of hair. The other times I notice is when I brush my hair, and on my pillow in the morning. I'm cleaning my house this weekend, and am finding hair everywhere!!!

I shampoo every other day, and use Tressemme shampoo and conditioner. My hair is really fine, so I usually put a leave in conditioner on the baby fine hair at the base of my scalp. However, what falls out seems to be long hair.

What can I do to fix this problem? I have read the other answers, but truthfully can't afford to go to the doctor - I don't have insurance.

Someone, and I am not going to say who, has asked about 10 questions today regarding to welfare and abortion. It follows the normal line of logic, which denounces someone who is against them and INDIRECTLY states the government is to fault for abortions because they can't provide money to the poor. For example one question related to a mother who is poor and has no family support, thus she should be able to have an abortion because the government can't provide for her. My response to that is get a job or stop having so many kids if you can't afford them. So basically, why is it that people believe we should pay someone's way through life because they are either lazy or use excuses as to why they can't better themselves.
