You'll be glad to know that I take a whole lot of time to get ready. I spend a lot of time on my hair because it's so straight, and because I have more than one whorl on my head.
See bottom picture of link for an example of multipe whorls:

Why did I have to be a genetic freak?

My father. He was always there for me growing up, and now that I'm an adult (and still his "little girl") he's my friend as well as my dad. I can say that I am where I am today because he was so involved and loving when I was younger. My husband. He is my best friend in the whole world. He works his butt off to provide for me and our children, even though he hates his job. He's a fantastic father and a good role model for the younger guys we know. My son. What can I say....I love that little stinker more than I can even put into words! He's my buddy. He is sweet yet feisty, he has a questioning mind that keeps me sharp and focused, and he is brimming with life and energy. He's amazing. (he's 4, just fyi) My brother. He's a good friend, and he's just plain fun to hang around with. We are nearly opposites in many ways, but at the same time we understand each other pretty well. And I love singing with him - he and I both have perfect pitch (well, in our ears anyways, maybe not in our voices! lol) and it's a blast to sing together. My father-in-law. He is gentle and kind, and he has always treated me like a daughter. He and his wife have made me part of their family, welcoming me with open arms. I'm so blessed to know them! He is also my pastor, and I really respect his beliefs and the way he guides our church. He is a very wise pastor, one of those sincere men who is in the ministry for the right reasons, and he lives what he believes. Who he is in the pulpit is also who he is at home on a Thursday night when nobody is around. And my brothers-in-law. They are great guys, and we get along quite well. My in-laws did a great job raising all 4 of their sons.

Maybe in your reality. Personally, I'm always ready first. Most women I know are, but then again that's true of most stereotypes.
