I am EXTEREMLY opposed to gay relationships. I think the only reason gays turn to be gay is because they cannot find someone of the other sex to be with. This is my opinion and I know I will be cut down for it, but I just wanna know what your opinions are on this matter. I agree that gays are people too, but why do they have "Gay Pride" and all that kind of things. Just because I am straight doesn't mean I am going to walk up and down the street saying"Straight Pride!"

Kenny Chesney's "She thinks my tractor's sexy" sounds too funny to be romantic and now Brad Paisley has a new song called "Ticks," where he finds it romantic to check his lady friend for...well, ticks.

Uh, is it just me or do these songs have redneck overtones/stereotypes? If some guy came up to me and asked to check me for ticks, I'd be turned off.

A question for those inked: how much of your work is something you more directly control, and how much do you just let the artist go on?

I ask as I've heard two schools of thought. One is that some people have a precise idea of what they want, and don't want to vary at all. Another, seemingly more common, is to give the artist an idea of what you're looking for and trusting their artistic vision. The former is still with some commentary from the artist, while the latter is with the okay of the inked (that is, no surprises).

There is no real "right" answer to a question like this; I'm mostly just curious.

My own answer in a followup.

I have a storage building that is regular wood construction with vinyl siding and a peaked metal roof. It sits directly on concrete blocks and has a plywood floor. The floor is about 10 inches from the dirt beneath the building, and as far as I can tell, the wood does not touch the soil anywhere (it might somewhere; hard to see the whole underside)

Yet there's always a wet spot on the plywood, not adjacent to the wall, when it rains and even for a while afterwards. The roof is not leaking, at least water is not coming through the ceiling or down the wall - and the soil under the building is bone dry!

Any idea how the floor is probably getting wet? Can water "wick" along the 2x4's to the lowest point of the floor? (the floor is uneven and this is the lowest point) And, any idea how to find out and fix this problem? I want to carpet and furnish in there, but until this problem is solved I'm stuck.

Thanks for any ideas.

I recently (in the past 3 months) started an a workout program where I life weights so heavy I can only do 1 set with 8-12 reps of any exercise. Recently, as I have been able to increase the amount I lift, I have had some really intense aches and tightness in my shoulders. Anyone have something similar happen? What could be the cause? What are some ways to alleviate this condition? I don't have sharp pains; just a dull ache and tightness.

I have a user who cant open her .xls file which is stored on a flash drive (Lexar FAT32 256MB). The message that comes back says

'file.xls' cannot be accessed. The file may be read-only, or you may be trying a access a read-only location. Or, the server the document is stored on my bot be responding.

Extra Info:
User running XP Pro SP2
Office 2003

**Things I have already done.

Opened up other files, everything works good.

The user works on two other computers, so I had her open them on those computers just in case read-only was set on those.

Made sure windows could see the drive as being healty (good)

Checked the file properties for read-only (not set).

You've heard all they've got to say
You looked but turned away
Just walk away walk away
You've said all you got to say
Now the words just slip away
Just walk away, walk away, walk away
That's what they say, what they say, what they say
You gotta walk away
If you've played all the games they've played
You played them yesterday
Just walk away, walk away
If you've been, where they wanna go, seen all they've got to show
Just walk away, walk away, walk away
That's what they say, what they say, what they say
You gotta walk away
And now you must believe me, you never lose your dream
So now you must believe me, we never lose our dreams
If you proved all there is to prove, got nothing left to use
Just walk away, walk away
If you've done, all there is to do, ain't nothing left for you
Just walk away, walk away, walk away
That's what they say, what they say, what they say
Walk away, walk away, walk away
That's what they say, what they say, what they say
You gotta walk away today

What if this 'discovert' of a new planet has humanoid life, the planet can sustain us and so on. SO WHAT???
Things that can not affect us cannot be important to us. if they can be, please explain it to me.
How can something that cannot affect you, you will NEVER see, feel, hear, touch, or smell affect you.
give an exapmle of such effect (how your life or daily routine will change, etc)
This is NOT a religious question so please no smart *ss responses about believing in God, as If there is a God, he will, by definition, be able to interact with us if he so chooses.
