I say yes.... ABC / Disney finally got fed up with her trash talk.
I think the straw that broke the camel's, or hog's, back is her at that awards dinner the other day where she yelled the "F" word and later made a nasty graphic sexual comment.
The lady is nuts.....

No, she didn't get fired. Basically they (the network) only set up a one-year contract for her. And now, she told them, and the viewers on Wed. show that the show doesn't fit what she needs for her life and family. I read the article and watched Wednesday's show, there was no firing. Barbara Walters even denied that she wanted Rosie off the show. They are friends and Barbara is sticking by her side in all of this. This was Rosie's personal decision to leave. The network wanted her to stay because she helped improve the ratings. I can kind of see why she's leaving because of all the turmoil with Trump and other things, but I will actually miss her. I like how there can be very diverse views on things. She always added a little fuel to the fire to make things more interesting. But maybe she, and other people will be better off. Here's some links down below for all the information.

No. I think her last statements about Trump in front of those girls was the last straw.
She can't let things go. Then on top of that, she was unapologetic when called on her remarks.
Liberal or Conservative have nothing to do with it. It is the color of money and ratings that speak.
If it was LIbERal vs. Conservative then why do we have advertisers on Fox, ABC and the rest. The whole cast of the view is mainly liberal also and I don't see them getting rid of the whole show.

Probably. She was an obnoxious loud mouth who spoke for no one but herself. I don't think sponsors had canceled yet, but criticizing Rupert Murdoch, the owner of Fox News, may have put a bale of hay on the camel's back.

The problem with Rosie was that she could not back up her statements which sounded like a mantra from MoveOn.org.

she boosted the ratings, and thus the ad revenue. So the sponsors had nothing to do with it. Secondly, it would make a lot of sense that she would demand an obscene amount of money for that fact, and that she would not get it because Walters doesn't want her on the show anymore.

Oh yeah, did your inside sources tell you that? Their veiwers have increased since Rosie came on board. That is all that companies care about. If that wasn't the case, idiots like Limbaugh and Hannity would also be off the air.

Maybe to save face all around, ABC offered her a reduced salary, knowing she wouldn't accept.
