But the malevolent Slave Masters of 19th Century America are gone.
Now it's just called credit card debt.
Slaving away to make sure you can keep your possessions, and your position.

Nope. Slaves labor is cost-efficient and as long as they can get away with it, why stop? Ask the young Chinese about slavery and how easy it is to get tricked into it

No, it has evolved but it is still in the USA (there is poverty), low income and ignorance. in Muslim countries women are not free. In Africa maybe China and many other countries slavery still exist under many difference names.

not really, it has adapted... look at your work demands and what you get out of it...

a 'career' demands a lot of our time, energy and focus... while we make lots of money for the 'corporation' we're only getting the minimal amount they need to pay us to keep us.
