btw the 'ṗ' below is supposed to be a p with a line over the top.

Find the producer's surplus at a price level of ṗ = 380 for the price-demand equation p = D[x] = 0.005x^2 + 0.8 + 20.

I have been with my boyfriend for over a year now and gave him a key to my apartment 6 months ago or so. My roommate, however, wants me to ask for the key back. I asked her about it before I gave it to him and she was OK but now there is a third roommate moving in. My boyfriend is a very trustworthy guy. He is never here when I'm not here but he lives 2 hours away and comes into town a couple of weekends a month. I gave him a key in case he ever beat me home when I got stuck at work or if he ever wanted to stay out later after a night out or something. My roommate says she has nothing against him but she doesn't want him having a key. I tried to assure her that it was for emergencies and rare situations. Should I ask for it back?

I plan on going to the Univeristy of West Georgia in the fall because I can't afford to go to a private school; if I keep all A's for the first two years will prestigious schools like Berkley, UNC-Chapel HIll, Michigan-Ann Arbor, etc accept me... or do they only accept transfer students from other prestigous schools. I guess to sum it all up, does the school you go to greatly effect your chances of getting accepted as a transfer student to a prestigous school.

My great grandma who has had several heart problems and low blood pressure has been having trouble lately. WE found out she has a block in her heart. Her husband had the same thing and had a pacemaker put in and the doctor told us if we did not bring him to the hospital, he would have died. There is NO way my grandma can make it through surgery she is just too weak. Her blood pressure is as low as my grandpa's was when they said he would have died. Is there any other options for my grandma or is she going to die? She is 89 years old.

I personally don't eat meat. It's my choice not to. I don't care that there are a lot of people out there who don't agree with or share my personal eating habits. I respect their choice and hope that they respect mine. That being said...why are people always at each others throats about what they eat? It's a personal choice so why argue over who's eating habits are superior to whos??? I don't tell you to go chew on grass, you don't tell me to go kill a cow.

Me and my girlfriend are moving to the USA this fall. She's a Christian, I'm an atheist.

We both hate it when people forget that there are many religions on this planet, so we both get annoyed if somebody assumes their beliefs are the only correct one.

Let's assume I get sick, and end up in a hospital. We will both put our trust in doctors, and as a little bonus my girlfriend will probably pray.

In the hospital, what has the bigger chance for us to be exposed to?:
1) an atheist telling my girlfriend that her prayer is useless
2) a Christian telling me that I should pray to God

To us, both are equally bad.

I don't intend to divide groups with this question. In a world with this many different religions, we both feel everybody should leave others alone when it comes to religion. But I'd just like to know what we have to prepare us more against.

I have a 30 mL solution of PBS at a pH of 7.40 open to atmosphere (at 25C). I bubble 5% CO2 through a tube until the pH stabalizes to 6.48. Does anybody know the Ka value of adding a weak acid (ie CO2) to a buffered system? How would I incorporate the Henderson-Hasselbalch equation to find changes in CO2 concentration over time with one known (pH)?

A man held up a picture of another man. He said, "The dad of this person is my dad's son" (The man who held up the picture is a only child, and the "dad's son" is an only child also.) Please solve this, and if u know the answer, tell that too.

I'd say, "I hate it when brunnettes change to blonds or put blond highlights or streaks in their hair."

I work with someone who was married before. She divorced him 9 years ago, but still has his last name. She is now engaged to another man. She told me she doesn't like her fiance's last name, so she wants to keep the last name she has now(her ex husbands). Maybe it's a stupid question, but can you marry without changing last names?

I have a 3 year old son and everytime that he visits my mother in law i have to wash his blanket because it gets so disgusting from all the dirt and dog hair. She won't let my son drink or eat in the living room but her dog can go outside and roll in dead things then come inside. She recently sent me an email about how its a waste of life to have a clean house (which I do) and that unless you can write in the dust then its just not a home. I like a clean house she obviously doesn't but I don't think I can be polite much longer...my son can talk pretty well and I am afraid what he will say about her untidy and hairy house!

It is not sandy, but covered in grass. I am afraid to disturb it, but it's making me quite nervous as it is about 30' from my house. What could it be? It's about 16" high and 20" in diameter.

The major factor that can bring these two superpowers into direct conflict is Taiwan.

The Chinese regime has constantly reiterated that within the next decade Taiwan will be integrated with the mainland, even if that is to be accomplished using coercion. 80% Of the Taiwan residents prefer the status quo, wherein they are not part of China.

In 2003 George Bush made unequivocally clear to the Chinse leadership that if China were to attack Taiwan, this would engender full scale military hostilities between the USA and China, because the the USA is committed by law to defend Taiwan against a Chinese invasion....

...How Likely Is A Military Confrontation Between The USA and China???
