Wow...no need for all the anger. You Christians get angry when your beliefs are questioned. Calm down.

This is a poor argument - some will argue that god is perfectly capable of doing all kinds of things that seem paradoxical to us because "he" is so far beyond our poor mortal comprehension.

But it's a good way to get someone to start thinking :)

God also has the power of reason and judgment too you know.
Ok. You know a car has a gas pedal that you can push to the floor without much effort right? Now, by your reasoning, when God drives a car, God must have the car right to the matt at all times because the car is capable of going, say 160 kliks. When God puts on the breaks, it must be right to the screws.

I hate to correct you..its not the rock being large- its the gravitational pull on the object that makes it heavy. The question should be worded Can God create a gravitational force such that....
For instance an object on the moon,(nay we confine God to a limited time and space hence the logical flaw of your argument),
would not weigh (mass*gravity) as the same as on earth..etc

Or the real answer to this question should be
Can God create an object so ridiculous as to ask absurd questions....

Hi there,
Sounds like you are asking the question...can God create something so heavy that He cant lift?

I have a riend who told me the answer to this question, and i will share it with you. But i am not taking the credit for it. =)

God has created something so heavy that He couldnt lift. He created my rock of a heart. Since He couldnt lift it alone, He took these two wooden beams and put them together to make a cross. And with that cross He wedged my heart.

Now my heart is His!

Hope this helps!
God bless!!!

Are you so D#$n bored that you have to come up with these stupid and mindless questions, I mean really .......get a Life!!! This is something a 2-3yr old would ask. Is you brain so burnt out that this is all you can come up with? Maybe you should spend less time wasting ours and more time reading the Bible. If nothing else, perhaps it will increase your thinking process.

The same reason he makes a person that he can't save. :P

It's inherently contradictory; to do such a thing would result in a world where no laws about anything could apply.

Yes, he can, because he has the ability to stop a paradox, which is what you are describing. If he is all powerful, that is.

And you want Christians to come up with new questions,,,,,

Good Luck,

In a sense, he can't. God is the truth. God can't create a lie.
