There is basically no evidence today for macro-evolution. A bird hasn't become a dog...etc. Now dogs do change from one type of dog to another but that is inside its kind. (micro-evolution) There is also no examples today of changes in genes that involve the gain of information. We have mutations but that is the loss of information. How can someone blindly follow the theory of evolution when so many things are against it?

I work in a office w/ about 5 or 6 other people and none of them say bless you when someone sneezes. I say bless you to them when they do and they done even say thank you. I dont really know any of them personally and they all seem to be nice pepole so I dont get it. I say it to everyone when they sneeze even people I dont know. Its kinda like exscuse me or thank you. Was i raised to say it or are all the people I work with assholes?

I know it cant actually happen and...actually...I wouldnt TRULY want this or things would get screwed up,& I dont want the year to be over already,but is it just me or is anyone else ready for 4th of July & Halloween already? Not to speed up time, just maybe...July 4th to be next week & Halloween to be next month and then the rest of the year can go on as planned. whatcha think?

Keep seeing these electronic things that you plug in (they supposedly disourage the little blighters from coming into your house.

Why is it that (some) people make these ridiculous statements and believe in their religion without any questioning or any thought. It’s like they just can't think for themselves and so recite verses from their holy book (what ever book that might be).

I really don't mind someone having their beliefs once they really can speak for themselves

And why are these same people speak with such certainty-It's a belief, not a certainty

Further more who is responsible for these people (because they aren't capable of being responsible for themselves).
Is it their local clergy, I suppose it is in the "institution’s" interests to keep these people ignorant.

Once again I respect people's beliefs (no mater what they are).

So me and my girlfriend have been going out for along time. We've been fighting alot lately and i feel that she never has time to talk to me, like she always has something to do, or a reason that cuts our conversations short..i.e going out with her mom, she's tired, shes sick, shes got work, shes got h.w. I broke up with her today for this reason. I've broken up with her alot lately but we end up getting back together even though i know it's a bad idea. When we fight she doesn't act like it bothers her and it makes me frustrated. When i break up with her she just goes along with it.. "ya maybe we do need some time apart." I tell her it seems like she doesnt love me and gets mad sayin she loves me and not to say that. When were good we're amazing..but when were bad we're BAD. She goes on vacation tomm. Don't say she's planning on fooling around because she's not like that atall. What should i do?? i want her back but i feel she doesn't treat me we'll.

my ex husband goes on and on about wanting a friendship with me. He says he cares so much about me and our child. and that it's so important since we have shared and been threw so much together. we have 2month old together.
when it comes down to though his actions show that he doesn't care and that he would rather give up family time ( and his family in my opinion) to be with his 17 yr old girlfriend that he left us for.
why does he bother?

On the contrary the Jews had a GOLDEN AGE in the Islamic Empire of Northern Africa (Morroco and Tunisia). Muslims protected them and they didnt even have to send any of their sons to battle. They were charged a "head tax" also called a "protection tax".

For the Jews this was one of the most peaceful times their history had recorded.

If you are interested then do the research or look at the good relations between Muslims and Jews before the advent of Radical Zionism.

Hey fellow Mormons. I have a problem. It has been in my mind for some time now. I know that God can be both kind and terrible, but I also know that He has given us our free agency. I read in "Joseph Smith, Rough Stone Rolling" by Richard Lyman Bushman that quote: "By delaying plural marriage, Joseph risked provoking God's wrath. Mary Rollins Lightner, one of his plural wives, later said Joseph told her about the pressure he was under. "The angel came to me three times between the year of '34 and '42 and said I was to obey that principle (of plural marriage) or he would [s]lay me." Others told the story with an additional detail: the angel held a drawn sword." Many affidavits by people like Joseph B. Noble, Benjamin F. Johnson to George S. Gibbs, make it highly likely that this story about the angel and the sword is not made up. I have problems reconciling this account with the doctrine of free agency. Help, please?
