how do u get rid of the algae on virtual villagers 2?

Question

u no when u try 2 fish and it wont let u cuz there is 2 much algae in the water

how do u farm though

Once you get your farming up to level 3 (and enginering to 2 I think) you can catch golden fish in the little streams lake. It will take about ten of those to get rid of the algae, and the villagers will not automate it.. Until that happens, you'll have to use the coconuts and farm for food.

You can't remove the algae until you have obtained the 3rd level of farming and you have a Master Farmer. If you are out of food do this: Obtain 5,000 tech points and purchase 2nd level of engineering. Drag a villager to the bottom of the stream just before it all spreads out to start building a dam. Once the dam is completed it will take about an hour to have your first crops. After that a new crop will show up every 4 hours (normal speed play). You can also use 1,500 tech points for 2nd level of farming for coconuts, but the villagers will go threw those in a couple of hours and you will be out of food again in no time.
