Is it possible to have lisp in another language,but not english?
my mom said I have lisp in tagalog,but not in english.is she just saying that so when I go home I wont speak english and be all american and stuff or is she being honest?

I believe lisping is caused by some slight abnormality of the mouth, tongue or teeth, and really has nothing to do with language. Therefore, it would seem that your mom may have been kidding, or perhaps she actually believes that. Lisping only occurs with certain consonant sounds, and I'm not familiar at all with tagalog, so there may be some truth in what she says.

I have a friend who has a pronounced lisp when he speaks Spanish, but doesn't when he speaks English. It is kind of strange when you think about it.

you can ask a Dr ,but I think if you have a lisp ,it is there all the time ,no matter what language you speak

my spanish teacher speaks with a lisp in spanish but not in english so i say aya its possible.

Ask Someone else. You could if you are not totally fluent.
