The story about them insisting on a 3 year deal and her on a 1 year deal and Barbara saying it wasn't her, it was Daytime ABC, is a face saving game. Barbara could have kept her if she wanted her. This is an out for them without saying she was fired, or in reality her contract was not renewed.

HOORAY!! I was overjoyed to hear that today.
And please don't insult female dogs by calling her a ...well, you know what I mean.
What I want to know is: WHY did it take ABC so long to figure out that this person was a liability and not an asset? And what was wrong with Barbara Walters, putting up with this nasty person for so long??
I still won't watch the show because whoever they put in Rosie's place (and actually there would be room for about 3 other people, right?) will probably be just as loud, obnoxious, rude and ill-informed. A "no win" situation.
But that's just my opinion.

I don't think anyone cares one way, or the other. I know I don't.
As for the reason she is leaving I think is perfectly clear. She has become bad for the show. I'm sure their ratings have droped. I don't believe her leaving has anything to do with her contract. I'm sure Barbara new that if she didn't get rid of her that there might not be a The View show to watch in her future.

Yes, she could not come up with an agreement with abc. They want 3 yrs and she said 1 yr. they said no and she said good bye, she will be done in June.

Yea, who really cares? All of the things that are going on in the world? This is news? So this women who dresses badly and has no care for herself physically has an opinion about everything.

As far as I am concerned, she could leave the planet and not be missed. She is the most opinionated, sour faced, bit_h that I have ever seen on TV.
