I have found quite a few good deals, but none of them work with dial up. I live in the boonies and the cost for satelite is outrageous, I would love to watch something more than 2 channels...I don't care if they are in another language, I am desperate.
Any suggestions would be welcome.

We have just recently found a lot of mice droppings, and now we're seeing mice everywhere. My dog has been catching them, and we have also found a few dead ones she's caught while we weren't home. And she's had her shots, But I'm still not sure if she can get sick from them or not. But when she catches them, she basically only grabs it and I guess crunches or bites it then spits it out. ( Sorry if the description is gross. ) But I really need to know if she can get sick. This has been going on for a few weeks now.

I have been doing research on Christianity, after a lot of thinking and deliberation I have come to the conclusion that the religion in practical terms has nothing good to offer.

They are opposed to key things that in my mind are very important.

- They oppose global warming
- They are opposed to evolution and science
- They are opposed to abortion but they are pro death penalty
- They are opposed to free thinking and logic

It seems mainly people the caliber of bush are drawn to this religion here are some videos to prove my point that I came across during my research.

They have yet to find remains of people from that period.

People exist now.

At what point were we "created" in the last ten thousand years?

I'm not trying to make anyone feel stupid, but I just want to know how creationists deal with each of these facts. Do you dispute some of these as "facts", and if so which ones and why?

We are married, but getting divorced due to his cheating on me with a nurse at work. He picked the kids up saying he wanted to spend time with them. He actually took them on an outing with his mistress and her children. Her children actually were told that MY husband is ALREADY divorced even though when he did this, it wasn't even filed yet. I went completely nuts. He flaunted his affair, adultery, not to mention the kids feelings being pushed to meet this woman by their dad when he was living at home just a couple weeks earlier and is married to their mother! I haven't allowed him to take the girls since. I am still infuriated at the sheer gall! I told him if he wanted to visit them, he was to come here and sit with them downstairs. He hasn't seen them since. I don't want my kids hurt by missing their dad but I also don't want his utter lack of morality and disgusting behavior being shoved in their faces. Has anyone faced this? Any advice????

my friend is been married for almost 25 years. Orca-can attack and kill great whites, then only eat their liver. Also can kill grey whales which can be almost 10 times their weight

My Japanese teacher told me that the phrase "no hou ga" means "more than." What then does "yori" mean?


Here's an example of the hiragana word in question:

Watashi no uchi no hou ga anata no uchi "yori"ookii desu yo.



From this sentence I would conclude that yori means 'than.' However, it's used completely differently in this next sentence...

Ima mearii san wa, mae 'yori,' nihongo de hanasu no hou ga ii desu.

In this example the 'no hou ga' is completely dropped and yet the sentence still is translated as "Meariisan wasn't as good at speaking japanese before as she is now."

Could someone knowledgable in Japanese kindly explain what yori means here? Thanks a bunch (>-_->) (<-_-<)
