What were the pros/cons living in a military family? Was moving around from base to base an issue for you, or did you see it as an adventure? Do you resent your parents because they never really provided any roots? Was it difficult to make friends, or did you have an easy time? Do you think you got to spend enough quality time with your parents, particularly the one who was deployed? I'm more interested in how the military lifestyle affects the family concerning things they really can't control, such as moving. Not about what it was like living in a "strict" or "rigid" household. Thank You.

my bestfreind just found out she is pregnant and she smokes i told her she had to quit completely, she thinks it is more harmful to the baby to quit cold turkey because she will be stressed.... thus making the baby stressed. i smoke and will quit when i decide to have a child, i think if you want to quit enough it wont be stressful at all. is she right, should she just cut down? or quit alltogether?

I work for a major corporation and I am a nobody who works a low pay part time job. I have an idea that could make the company millions of dollars. I would like to propose the idea to the corporate headquarters, but I want to get paid for my idea. How would I go about proposing it? Why am I not sore after these workouts and what am I doing wrong. I used to be sore all the time. I switch routines. On a bench press I will do 3 sets and increase weight every set and do 5 exercies for the chest. Am I still building muscle mass and when I'm not sore after a workout.

I break out in hives every time I'm around one of these Willy Wonka short chicks.

I mean, I understand being shorter. That's very feminine. But anything under 5'2 is just dang ridiculous!

Seriously, I do feel like I'm in a horror film when I'm surrounded by girls 5'2 and under. I just want to run and keep running until I find higher ground, or a higher shelf that they won't be able to reach.

My 17.5 year old son showed up at my house last night... my ex-husband and i have joint-custody but he has physical placement. My son does not want to go back to him. If i send him back, he's just going to run away to somewhere else... what do i have to do to get physical placement of him? what are my options?

at his age do i even have to do anything legal-wise? is he old enough to just say that he wants to live with me?
