To the guy who says I'm immature.. I far from it...the question applies to someone who is in love with a guy who can't provide for her like the guy with the mansion who can. And had to choose between marrying for love or stability

Then I feel sorry for you.

I'm engaged to be married and I am VERY in love, and committed to my man. I also feel that our relationship is VERY stable.

Also, my parents have been together for 30 years....I'd consider that stable, and you can definitely tell that they are crazy about each other....STILL!!!!

I wouldn't marry for anything LESS than all three of those traits..

Things aren't this black and white.

I suggest anyone marry someone who makes them miserable, no matter how much stability they offer.

I would not suggest anyone marry someone for love if that person is unreliable, immature, and very unstable.

I wouldn't suggest anyone marry someone they don't love so that they can live in a mansion rather then a cheap apartment.

I could certainly understand someone marrying someone they don't love so that they can live in a home, rather then on the street, or in a country where their children have no opportunities. They should, in this situation, try to make the best of their marriage. If you're gonna spend 50+ years with someone, might as well spend the first few trying to make the relationship a pleasure.

Why can't it consist of all three things? If you love someone you commit to that person which in turns brings stability to your marriage. If it's the right person and you begin the marriage with true love and are completely serious about it.

just because you don't believe that the 3 don't exist together today doesn't mean that they don't exist in one form or another.
what about getting married to get a green card? there's nothing but money and paperwork involved in that one. i got lucky. i married a guy for love, commitment, and papers, then in the last 3 years it's become, also, about stability. stability only comes after time and working out the daily kinks in the relationship that will always arise and your willingness to work things out together!!

Actually they do. If you love being with someone that is committed to you and provides stability your natural love bank deposits will lead to a very strong love connection. All three do exist, my marriage is living proof.

I choose love. You can provide stability for yourself and if you commitment to the hard work a marriage requires you can have commitment.

You are kind if immature, aren't you? The thing to do is to get to know the character and attitude of the person you are with before you fall too deeply into love. A person with good character and attitude will be stable, confident, disciplined, flexible, affectionate, etc.

Definitely marrying for LOVE.
Love will still stand when all else has fallen.
You can't guarantee stability especially in the economy today.
When you marry for LOVE you can guarantee COMMITMENT.

Without love a marriage sucks... Marry when you find love, you attain the others if love exists
