I want to go career military officer. I want to persue these career fields helicopter pilot, fighter jet pilot, intelligence, and public affairs. I realize i will not do all of these but they are the ones that interest me so far. Which branch would be best for all these fields?

she likes me thinks i am good looking, thinks i am nice and like nothing wrong with me but says she dosent have these special feelings for me ,yet she hardly has had a chance to relly get to know me ,yah we hang out some times and have short talks on the phone but she is very shy and alofe twords guys in genral and no she is not gay she grew up in a differnt country were their is no datting just you i guss have to have some instant attraction from no were i ask her to give me a chance like to get to know me and try to look at me like this to see if she dose like me but is affraid to commit to that but still looks at me with these in love eyes and keeps hanging out with me is she playing hard to get?? if i liked a gril i would not ackt like that but maby grils are differnt ..how can i win her heart my life would be like heaven with her and with out her ...well missrable can anny boddy give me some tips i dont have good lady skills

I have a 60-70 foot ash tree in my front yard. Due to the droughts and water restrictions in the last few years one of the roots has risen above ground. It's nearly 8" in diameter near the trunk, and reaches about 10', rising 3 1/2" above the soil. I've heard you can cut roots like this but I'm afraid the tree might topple during the next big wind. And I can't raise the level of my yard. I tried covering the root with soil, hoping the grass would grow over it but it didn't work. Any suggestions?

How many gardeners out there knowingly gamble on frost/freezing with tender garden plants and flowers? I'm 3 weeks away from my average last frost date, but would love to get me tomatos in now. The 10 day forecast shows that the coldest night won't be below 36F and I have row covers that can protect from light frost, but not freezing. I have had plastic mulch down to warm up the soil for the past week so that's not an issue. I've never risked planting tomatos before May 1 in the past, but I'm tempted this year in order to get them early and have a longer season. Should I risk it? Do you risk it?

DC versus AC problem. Suppose your DC power supply is set to 15 V and the vertical setting on the oscilloscope is at 5 V/div. How many divisions will the trace deflect if you connect the output of the power supply to the scope with the "A input" switch set on DC? How many divisions if the switch is on AC?

Okay, so I have an old Compaq Hard Drive from an older computer, which I know is still in great condition- just with out a laptop (DK23AA-12). I also have a HP Hard drive from a pavilion.

They both were interchangeable for the two computers, meaning they have the same "plugs". I now have this brand spanking new computer, and the extra 90 gigs wouldn't hurt (even if it were external space). My new computer is a Dell Inspiron E1705 running Vista. What ways can I use these two hard drives, and yes I am okay only using one of them. I don't care if it is external or internal, I just am curious to how I would go about it. Connections, programs needed, yata yata.

In grade school I had a friend. In 5th grade he used to be a total geek but was still really funny and we became friends. He used to get picked on alot, until he started "de-geeking" himself. I didn't care, I'm friends with him for who he is (not a relationship; just good friends). So he became "normal" in 8th grade, and then went on to on of those all-boys college-prep high schools. He still was social freshman year, and we and his other friends hung out about every weekend. I noticed he seemed upset, and he just made jokes about his school sucking. He's now in 11th grade, and has changed completely. He never wants to do anything anymore, and sometimes doesn't return phone calls. He always says he is really busy with school, but he has been really wierd. He has looked really upset and has become extremely withdrawn. When we do hang out, he is quiet, reserved, and looks like he is afraid of something. He always tries to avoid talking about himself whenever I ask how he is

I have recently became disabled after an accident so i am not able to go and work a 9-5 job but i wanted to try and doing something simple that i can work from home, i am very good with computers and building webpages, and i wanted to try my hand at selling stuff on Ebay or Amazon or maybe even my own site, but i can't think of anything to make or to sell, the only thing i can think of is "gift baskets" but that kinda sounds lame and already done, i would like to do something where the material wont cost that much and it wont be hard to ship,

I was in my room and heard a lot of commotion in the living room. I walked out of the room to find that my sister was screaming at our cat. She told me window was blowing and my cat jumped up and got stuck in the window. When she went to help him out, he bite her. He also attacked my minature pincher. I then try to feed the cat and place him in the bathroom away from everyone, and he attacks my leg. We found this cat when he was a just a little kitten outside. He is constantly trying to get outside and sometimes succeeds. This is not normal behavior at all. Could my cat been scared because of the window incident or is there a chance he might have rabies?
