I have never had a regular period. It's always been late never early. Also I'm on the nuvaring...don't know if that has anything to do with it.

you should not be bleeding with the nuvaring, unless you left it out or were late in putting it back in after your last period

With any type of birth-control, there is the chance of break-through bleeding. For regulation of your menstrual cycle, you might want to switch to the pill. Talk to your gynecologist. S/he will be able to prescribe a better dosage, or tell you if your particular experience is normal or not.

It may take a month or two for your body to adjust, but if you are having them too frequently, you need to consult the Dr.
