If you have a rather unique religious belief what is it? I know the board has hundreds of Christians, Jews, Muslims, and atheists so I really don't need an answer from you guys...

but if you have a religious belief that is unique and you feel probably not shared by thousands of others on this site--

...could you sum up your belief structure in a paragraph? I know it's not possible to really do it justice, but just an idea of the crucial elements in your beliefs, any rituals, afterlife beliefs, and of course most importantly--don't forget to say what your religion is!

I'm sure this would be really interestign to a bunch of people and would allow more intelligent questions to stem about your religion (instead of a stereotype)

The problem is...
(X-2)/(X^3-8)

and it needed to be simplified so I...

(x-2)/(x^3-2^3)... I factored
(x-2)/x^2-4(x-2)... pulled out the x^2-4
1/x^2-4... cancelled the "x-2"s
1/(x-2)(x+2)... factored again

If x doesn't equal 2, or -2.

So ... Is that right, if it isn't I kinda wanna know what I am doing wrong so I can finish my assignment.

Dont you think supermans constume is absurd? What is with the cape (and dont say it was from his home planet, that was just made up to rationalize something idiotic). What does he need a cape for? I have a freshwater aquarium filled with different tropical fish. Oir first fish was a gold fish and he has been with us over a year. He looks unhealthy, and has red blood type stripes in his fins. He also looks bloated. My water tests good. Any help would be appreciated.

i was fooling around with one of those doll boots and i made it stick to my face in several places and now i have 3 perfect circles of broken blood vessels and i would like to know the healing time. it is now 11 pm and i have school in the morning. Ok my mom teaches 6th grade and they are having an international day. Each class has to pick a place and use this place to inspire the decorations, music, food etc. of their classroom. I know this kid who is having a Bar Mitzvah. I am in all his classes. Two of my best friends are in none of his classes, and got invited. I didn't. Why is that? The Bible is supposed to be God's word.
In the Old Testament you will learn this...
That a disobedient child should be stoned to death.
That if a bride isn't a virgin, she should be stoned to death.
That anyone who works on the sabbath should be stoned to death.
I'm no expert, but this doesn't sound like a loving, compassionate God to me.

Find the answer to 2 decimal places

y=x^2-5 x
and the x-axis for x between 1 and 8.

(My method was to find the antiderivative and then plug in 8 and 1 into the equation and subtract, resulting in the answer 12.83, but this was wrong)
