When Gatsby and Daisy were together, before he went to the war, did she live in West Egg or East Egg? Where did she live?

Thanks.

East and West Egg acts as a symbol for class and social standing, one of the most important themes of The Great Gatsby.Tom and Daisy live on the East which is far more refined and well bred. Nick and Gatsby are on the West which is for people who don't have any real standing, even if they have money.
East Egg represents the established aristocracy, West Egg the self-made rich.
Situated at the end of Daisy’s East Egg dock and barely visible from Gatsby’s West Egg lawn, the green light represents Gatsby’s hopes and dreams for the future.

Hmmm. That's a good question. I just finished reading the book and I remember somewhere the mentioning of her living in Louisville, Kentucky.
Before she met Tom, she lived out in Kentucky. In fact, pretty much all the main characters in the novel lived somewhere out in the West, and subsequently moved East after either marrying or gaining wealth.

She lived in Louisville, Kentucky.

She doesn't move to East Egg until after she and Tom had married, honeymooned, live in Europe, lived in Chicago and then moved to Long Island.
