like they say eating 2000 calories at age 14-17 is heathy but does that mean for each meal or for that day im losta nd confused

2000 calories total, or 300 - 400 per meal, 4 to 5 small meals a day.

It means for the whole day, you can eat 3 meals a day each 300 calories, and 2 snacks each 100 calories.

For a well balanced day in an active life 2200 cals a day is perfect. But if you are not active 2000 a day is okay. But activity is the important thing here, not the calories. Eat well and be active.

Unless Your Training to be a sumo Wrestler, Its 2000 a day but That depends on if you are tryn to gain wieght, lose it, or stay the same. Ive kinda always ate way more the 2000 a day but am still skinny because I am active i guess.

It has to be for entire day including all the meals, bed tea, snacks etc. The exact need may vary depending on your age, sex, occupation level of physical activity and the objective (whether you want to increase or decrease or maintain the current body weight.

For the day! We are counting calories for our health, 2000 calories a day is the norm.

It would be your daily allowance and best spread over 3 meals and 2 snacks.
