by creating people who do not want to be created. Now I know some of you will try to be smart and say "our parents make us," but it is really God who provides the soul and makes sure your development as a fetus into a human comes into fruition. Now suppose somebody hated his life due to extreme environmental circumstances (disease, poverty) and hated his/her life. Does that mean God has done the person an injustice, since the person did not want to be born?

I am not the above type, but someone has asked me this question and I had absolutely no answer, want to see what you guys think...

I noticed I can hold a object such as a pen in my hand and move my hand in all 3 dimensions, BUT the pen is still facing up the entire time. I have to rotate the pen in order for it not to face up, but I can rotate it without using any of the other 3 dimensions becuase my hand doesn't move along any axis it only rotates.

Can anyone think of a legal, yet effective, way of showing our disgust with the oil prices? Currently, I'm paying $2.84/gal. This time last month, the price was hovering around $2.25/gal.

It's time we stop buying in to the "We're switching to our summer blend" excuse and do something about it. Start boycotting oil companies, support public transportation, write a congressman, anything. We need to do something. This is getting downright ridiculous. I'm not a political person, so I could care less about contacting congress. By the time someone actually looked at a bill about gas prices, it'd either be shoved in with an abortion bill, or a bill about immigrants, so as to get vetoed. This is ridiculous people, lets think of a way to let the oil companies know we are fed up with this crap.

It seems more and more that with the progression of mankind we move further and further away from actual reality and more toward the theoretical. Everything is going digital, even this message I am writing is not physical and I will probably never meet anyone who answers or reads it but I am still capable of responding for instance. I am wondering what your opinions are about this. Is this the real natural evolution of mankind toward a better clearer communication or could this just be a distraction away from humanity toward a robotic cyber hell of theory?

My wife's 2001 Audi A4 Quattro's brakes just started to grind. I have a friend who can easily replace the brake pads. My question is, how do I know if the rotars also need replacing??? What do I look for on the rotars? Is it a measurement???

Coming into the Navy, just started DEP, what are some hints to dealing with people and Navy and how the Navy's system works? I have heard and believe there are people out there to make your day hell and turn on you. May it be take credit for your work or tell on you. What are some ways of coping with this? (This isn't to make Navy sound bad you get these people anywhere you go but the Navy is a different enviorment). What are some tip right off the bat for an E-1 to do...it will be kind of a culture shock in a way?

Firstly I’d like to put my hands up and admit I’ve been guilty of doing this in the past, but surely my fellow atheists will accept that a lot of his ideas were good. Forgiveness for enemies, not casting judgment on others, treating the rich and the poor equally, roundly condemning violence. From a secular point of view, I'd say he's worthy of the same respect Gandhi deservedly enjoys, we just don't think he was divine.

Anyone agree?
