how come fred was kicked out of the band and was replaced by jack? since fred and tom are cousins, you would think he would stay in the band. but i just wanna know why. thanks

On October 17, 2006, it was announced on the band's MySpace blog that Fred Cimato would be replaced by former October Fall bassist Jack Marin. However, only six months later, the band announced that Marin had left the band and Cimato would reprise his role as a basist temporarily. Marin has spoken out on why he left the band in his LiveJournal, citing personal issues with another member. In early 2007, it was revealed that the group has signed with Atlantic Records.
I'm not completely sure why they parted ways in the first place, but it is no secret that there has always been a great deal of drama to go along with the band, since they first started.

According to blogs by the band and Fred they kicked him out of the band for Jack in which left the band 6 months later. Right now Fred is the current temporary bassist. He revealed in LiveJournal that he left because of personal issues with another member of the band. They just signed to a mainstream company Atlantic Records so we will see if he gets the boot again or is going to stick around.
