The FOOTBALL season runs from mid-August to May, so it really depends how long you are staying in London. Many clubs have 'friendly' matches in the pre-season training period, so you might get lucky and catch one of them - typically these involve lower division clubs against higher division clubs, or even overseas clubs, so can be quite good. Check the FA website (link below) nearer the time to see if you can find any fixture near to where you are staying.

Would'nt think so.Soccer is a Winter sport.You may be lucky if they play an international games.Sorry July is'nt the best time as this is the cricket season

Usually the Premier Division starts a wee bit later.... And then you'll find the top games are ticket - only. Get to know someone in Qantas who has private boxes
